Love the building here, it’s a proper old gem. Sat outside for a bit and the Greek columns make it feel grand. Just a classic Spoons vibe in a really cool setting.

Food was good, delivery was on time even though they were busy.

Nice spot by the river, the view's the main draw. Ordered the fish and chips. Portion was decent for the price, but honestly, the chips could have been a bit more generous. Still, a solid choice for a casual lunch.

The king prawn chow mein had a great kick from the bird's eye chillies. Really packed with flavour.

Love the vibe in here. The live music nights are brilliant, really makes the place feel lively. Just a great spot for a casual pint and a catch-up.

The naan breads here are so fresh, you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. They were soft and warm, a perfect complement to the meal. It's become my go-to spot for a reliable, healthy-feeling Indian option in the neighbourhood.

Staff were really careful with my peanut allergy, checked everything twice.

The steak was cooked just right, medium-rare with a good sear. Juicy and flavourful. The peppercorn sauce was a bit too heavy for my taste, though.

Nice spot for a quiet pint. The jukebox is a fun touch, and they have a decent drinks list. It's a comfortable place to sit and unwind, much better than the crowded chain pubs.

The owner’s wine pick was spot-on. It really lifted the simple grilled fish we ordered — the acidity cut through the oil just right. Menu’s not huge, but what they do, they do well.

Service is always spot on here. Staff are genuinely attentive without being overbearing. They remember little details, like how I prefer my water without ice. Makes the whole experience feel personal and relaxed.

Small spot, cosy vibe. Staff were really on it and had a laugh with us. They didn't mind tweaking a couple of dishes for our table, which was nice. Good, easy-going service.

Cozy spot with a real log fire, perfect for a chilly evening. The old wooden interior has loads of character. Had the steak and ale pie - the pastry was spot on, flaky and rich. The mash could have been a bit creamier, but the gravy was deep and flavourful. Solid pub grub.

Food was gorgeous, the lamb shank just fell off the bone. Service was spot on, really attentive. Just a nice, relaxed evening with friends.

Decided to try the sundae for a treat. Honestly, the portion was huge, almost too much for one person. Ended up sharing it. It's definitely filling, so you get what you pay for. Good for when you're really craving something sweet.

Sunday buffet was a hit! The chilli, garlic mushrooms and Gurkha lamb were my top picks. Everything stayed hot and fresh, which is always a plus. Really enjoyed trying a bit of everything.

The Christmas music and decorations were nice, but the real star was the beef and ale pie. The pastry was flaky and the filling was rich and hearty, exactly what you want on a cold day. Could have used a few more chunks of beef, but the flavour was spot on.

Been getting my birthday cakes here for ages, they never disappoint. The chocolate fudge one this year was a total hit with the gang. Just the right amount of sweet, and it looked fab. My friends kept asking where it was from! 🍰
