The chips were spot on, chunky and fluffy. Had to wait a bit as everything's made fresh, but that's fine. My pint of ale was a perfect match for them.

Tried the cherry sponge cake. Portion was huge, easily shared with a friend. Price was fair for the size. Left feeling very full.

First visit, likely not the last. The Regal set menu buffet is the main draw here. Good variety, and they keep the refills coming. Food is presented well, flavours are solid. Service was efficient, no complaints. A practical option for a business lunch in the area.

Good spot on Broad Street. Came for a quick bite before heading out. The portion was decent for the price, felt like a proper meal. Couldn't complain.

Always a must-visit at StarCity. The chilli mogo is just the right amount of crispy and spicy, and the parathas are always fresh and flaky. Staff are lovely.

Been coming here for years, always get the shawarma wrap. It's just as good as the first time, never disappoints. My go-to spot in the city centre when I need a fix.

A lovely spot tucked under the arches near Snowhill. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients were in my salad bowl. The greens were crisp and the avocado perfectly ripe. It did get quite loud when a train passed, but the quality of the produce made up for it.

Louise, Ben and Agnes are all lovely. They know the menu well and are very attentive.

Good spot for a full English in the centre. Quality ingredients, cooked properly. Tea in a pot is a nice detail. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. A reliable option if you're in the area and need a straightforward breakfast.

The staff remembered it was my birthday and brought out a little cake. So thoughtful.

A lovely little spot. The owner is very friendly, and the service feels warm and attentive. It has a nice, welcoming atmosphere. The pasta I had was pretty good, though the portion was a touch smaller than I'd expected. A decent find.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb shank is always spot on. Falls right off the bone, rich gravy, never dry. That's why I keep coming back.

The veggie breakfast was lovely, really fresh ingredients. Nice to see they could swap a quorn sausage for an egg without any fuss.

Saw Ed Tempole here. The space is intimate, which I liked. The sitting area was comfy, though the view from the back tables wasn't the best. Still had a really good night.

The lamb kebab was spot on, and the staff were so welcoming. Really felt like a proper home-cooked meal.

Had our office Christmas do here for 30 of us. The staff handled our big group really smoothly, and everyone's food came out hot and on time. Made the whole evening stress-free!

Been coming here for years. The coffee’s always spot on, and the paninis are fresh and tasty. It’s just a nice, cozy place to sit for a bit.

The French toast was stacked high with loads of fresh berries! Perfect for sharing with the girls. Coffee had a good kick to it. Portions are big, so come hungry.

Booked a table for a catch-up with the girls. The vibe was so cosy and warm, perfect for a long chat. Staff were really lovely. It's definitely a bit fancy, so glad we reserved ahead!

The BLT is a standout. The bread was fresh and the lettuce crisp, which I really appreciate. The bacon had a nice crunch. Paired with a simple iced coffee, it made for a satisfying, light lunch.

Proper local spot. The full English is massive, honestly struggled to finish it. Staff are always dead sound. Prices are fair for what you get. Just what you need.

The place has such a warm, cosy vibe. I really appreciated the menu – loads of thoughtful options for different diets, which made it easy to pick something. The staff were lovely too.

Cozy spot, perfect for a quiet read or a chat. The playlist is chilled, and the armchairs are comfy. They have a decent wine list, but the by-the-glass options felt a bit limited for the setting. Still, a nice place to unwind.

The grilled chicken is always spot on. Their house red pairs nicely with it, a solid choice for dinner.

The bottomless brunch is good value. They keep the cocktails coming, and they're actually well-made.

Popped in for a late breakfast. The scrambled eggs on sourdough with chilli jam were spot on. Berry smoothie was fresh. Nice little spot to grab a bite.

Tried a few Indian takeaways nearby, and this one stands out. The lamb in the curry was really tender, not dry at all. Flavours are spot on, not just heat but proper depth. A bit pricier, but you can tell the difference.

A perfect warm location for a family get together. Menu choices were good and food delicious. Service quite prompt but it was a busy restaurant at the time. Had everything on the menu apart from honeypot desert that alot of guests would have had :-(However all enjoyed and not having the extra calorie intake was probably a good thing :-)We shall return hopefully in the future.

Grabbed their classic fillet tower meal from the drive-thru for a late teatime. Honestly, it’s still the best. Even as takeaway, the burger was juicy and the chips were hot and crisp. A proper little treat.

Staff were so nice even when it was packed, they squeezed us in. Perfect for a spontaneous catch-up with mates!
