This restaurant offers a lovely carvery with a good selection of meats and vegetables at a reasonable price. Perfect for a family meal!

The service and food in Lucretia is always high quality. The fish was cooked to perfection by and the service was attentive but not overbearing

Tried the red velvet cheesecake on a whim. It was actually really good, not too sweet and the texture was spot on. For the price, a solid choice.

Found this spot after shopping. The tonkotsu ramen was so rich and warming, just what I needed. The chicken gyoza were spot on too. A lovely little break.

Food was very tasty, especially salmon tacos. I had a feeling to return next day to order them again. Had to move my booking 30 minutes before it to a later time without any problems. After ordering only 1 main for 2 people, as steak portion was big for me alone, waiter returned with offer of complimentary side. Seemed nice if my partner didn’t joke about reason for that - us being poor students and not able to afford dining. It left mixed feelings. During table cleaning sauce dish was overturned leaving sauce stain on the table where after was put the bill. Minor thing on the way of brilliant kitchen work. I will happily return to try more.

Been coming here for years. The BLT and chicken panini are solid, always hits the spot. Fresh OJ is a nice touch. Might try a dessert next time, they look decent.

Vegan sausage roll was a nice surprise, really tasty. The hot drink options are decent, but I prefer the cold ones on a warm day like this. Solid spot for a quick bite.

First time here, went with the sharing platter. Good way to try a few things. Portions are decent, two of us couldn't finish it. Service was prompt.

The staff were really nice, especially with our little one. His food came out super fast, which was a lifesaver. Just a chill spot for a family meal.

The all-glass front is lovely for natural light. Coffee was good, service quick. Seating area is a bit small though.

Great location in the city centre. Always get a table quickly, even when it's busy.

The mutton tikka was cooked just right, really tender. I appreciated how fresh the meat tasted. Just wish the portion was a bit more generous for what you pay.

The refurb is nice, but the menu changes are the real win. That smash burger is spot on - juicy, crispy edges, just right. The chips were good too, proper and hot.

The staff are really friendly and efficient. Stan, the owner, was so patient when I asked about gluten-free options. He took the time to explain the ingredients in detail, which I really appreciated. Made me feel well looked after.

Good set menu for groups of three or more. Food is consistently strong, service is solid. A bit pricey, but a reliable choice.

Clean toilets and good parking are a plus. The 90-minute limit is handy to know if you're meeting friends.

Great spot for a quick bite. Grabbed a steak and a pint outside. Perfect for a summer evening. Service was quick, which is all I need on a lunch break. The steak was decent. Would pop in again.

Popped in late, just before closing. Staff were still so welcoming, no pressure at all. Had a lovely glass of red with the cheese board – the pairing was spot on. Really appreciate that relaxed vibe when you're winding down.

The steak and ale pie is the reason I keep coming back. The pastry is always crisp, the filling rich and meaty. It’s proper pub food. The quiz night is a decent bonus, but honestly, I’m just here for the pie.

Popped in on a whim, no research. The lamb shank was falling off the bone, really tender. Simple spot, but the food is a proper find. Portion was huge, couldn't finish it.

The Sunday roast beef was cooked just right, still a bit pink inside. The Yorkshire pudding was huge and crispy on the edges, perfect for soaking up all the gravy. Could have used a bit more horseradish sauce though.

Nice spot to catch the game, plenty of screens. Drinks menu is decent, had a couple of pints with the lads. Bit loud when it's busy, but that's the trade-off.

Decent spot for watching sports. Caught the cricket match here, good mix of locals and visitors. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. A solid option if you're in the area and want a pint with the game on.

Stopped in for a pint after a long walk. The garden was so peaceful, a real sun-trap. It's a proper, no-frills pub with a lovely friendly feel. Just what I needed to unwind.

The chicken was spot on, crispy and juicy. The mashed potatoes were a solid side. What really worked for me was the house red they suggested – a nice, earthy pairing that cut through the richness. Made for a good, straightforward meal.

The halloumi here is a decent vegetarian choice. They cook it fresh when you order, which is nice. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but it was still pretty good.

The Sunday/Monday buffet is a solid deal. The food's the real star, and the house red was a nice surprise.

Been a regular for ages. The full English is still the one - proper sausages, and they don't skimp on the black pudding. It's just a solid, reliable feed.
