The bacon rolls are generous and the coffee cups are full. A solid spot for a takeaway breakfast, and the house blend actually pairs nicely with the salty bacon.

Our go-to spot in Oban. The ice cream is always reliably good, never disappoints. Stopped by after a long drive, hit the spot perfectly. A solid choice for a quick, quality treat.

The menu tells a story about their local fishermen, which is a nice touch. It makes the place feel more personal.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always so friendly, they remember your name and what you usually order. Downstairs dining room has a nice, lively buzz to it. Feels like a proper local spot.

Been coming here for years. On a wet day in Tobermory, the fish pie is always a solid choice. It's just good, honest food that hits the spot. Portions are decent for the price.

The venison was spot on, medium-rare and tender. The sticky toffee pudding though, that's the one. Warm, moist sponge, not too sweet, with a proper rich toffee sauce. Could have done with a bit more custard.

The view of Castle Stalker from the car park is stunning at sunset. Grabbed a quick pint from the bar to enjoy it before our booking. The local ale was a nice touch, though a bit on the warm side for my taste. Still, a lovely spot to pause with a drink.

Had the lamb and lobster. Both were spot on - lamb had real depth, lobster was sweet. Quality ingredients, cooked well. Atmosphere is relaxed, good for any occasion.

The vegan 'tofish' was a lovely surprise, and the menu had plenty of thoughtful choices. The booths were comfy too.

BBQ chicken pizza with pineapple, tomatoes, red onion. Ordered it for a quick business lunch. Flavour was solid, crust had a good crisp. Service was efficient, got the bill promptly. A reliable spot near the office.

Came in for an early lunch, so the menu was a bit limited. Went for the fish and chips though, and it was spot on. The batter was crisp, fish flaky. Just what you want from a classic.

The staff were so kind, especially when they noticed my friend had a small cut and brought over some ice without us asking. It felt like they genuinely cared, not just doing their job. Really nice touch.

The server was so lovely, really attentive without being overbearing. She noticed I was checking the menu for dairy-free options and suggested a couple of dishes right away. Made the whole meal feel relaxed and considered.

Great view of the loch from the upper floor. The curry was well-presented and the service was friendly.

Been coming here for years, and the staff always remember my face. That's what keeps me coming back. The local lager they let you try before ordering is still a nice touch. Prices haven't gone crazy either, which is a relief these days.

Menu's got a solid Italian and seafood focus. Generous portions, and the house red paired nicely with my pasta.

The homemade ice cream is so creamy, you can really taste the local milk. Huge scoops, too. The queue was long but they moved it along quickly.

The venison pie was lovely, really fresh and the pastry was spot on. The whole place just feels so cosy and relaxed, especially with the low lighting and those comfy booths.

The seared scallops were the star for me - perfectly cooked, with a lovely caramelised crust. Paired nicely with a local craft beer. The steak pie looked good too, but those scallops are what I'll remember.
