Stopped here for the night and honestly the parking situation alone made it worth it. Free and easy to find a spot, no circling around like at other places. Room was decent for the price, nothing fancy but clean enough. If you're just passing through and need a place to crash, this does the job.

The lighting in there is just right—soft, warm, not that harsh glare you get in so many places. We did the tasting menu and honestly, the food was spot on. Our waiter even mixed something custom for me when I couldn't decide. Felt really looked after. Only tiny thing, pacing was a bit slow between courses, but I didn't mind much.

The homemade cakes were a real highlight, and that cheese salad with fresh bread hit the spot. Sitting outside, just listening to the cowbells while sipping a decent glass of white wine—pretty idyllic. Service was a bit slow, but honestly, I was in no rush. A nice little stop to recharge before heading back to the car.

The Guinness here is solid. Proper pour, right temperature. Had the bar snack plate with it—decent enough, nothing fancy but does the job. Owners are friendly, not in your face. Good spot if you just want a pint and some conversation without any fuss.

The wine pairing was thoughtful, each glass matched the dish perfectly. We just walked in without a reservation and still had a lovely evening.

Food was great and my fillet was cooked too perfection. The staff working here made this night for me! very attentive, accommodating and welcoming. Thankyou!

Came back for the schnitzel again, Vuk always takes care of us. Fire was roaring, just as good as last time.

Service was solid - our waitress checked in just enough without hovering. Maultaschen came out hot and tasted homemade. Nothing fancy, but you can tell they care about what they do.

The fried rice and sweet & sour chicken were solid. Flavor was on point, portions decent for the price. Service was a bit slow though, waitress looked overwhelmed. Took a while to get the bill. Fine if you're not in a hurry, but don't expect quick in-and-out.

Stopped by this place while in Wangen and honestly, the backyard garden got me. Such a calm spot to sit and eat. Had a solid meal, nothing fancy, but the historic building around you makes it feel different. Staff were nice too. Maybe a bit busy when I went, but fine.

The hot stone steak was the star—cooked right at the table, exactly how I like it. Sides were decent too. Service got a bit slow once it got busy, but the food made up for it.

Lovely peppermint tea with real fresh leaves, and the blankets outside were a nice touch. Pricey, but you pay for the square view.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Food was solid, service friendly. The old building gives it a nice touch. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Nice little beer garden right by the abbey. House beer was solid, prices fair for the location. Good spot to grab a drink without breaking the bank.

The schnitzel was the real deal. Crispy, juicy, and big enough to skip the starter. Beer was cold too, though the steak was just okay.

Stopped here on the way through. Easy off the highway and plenty of parking. Hotel was fine for the kids. Ended up eating at the Turkish place next door since the hotel kitchen was closed. Solid enough.
