The glasshouse setting is so pretty for catching up with friends! The desserts look almost too good to eat. ☺️

This place has such a cozy, lived-in feel. The little side dishes that came with my main were all different, each with its own flavor. It felt like a proper home-cooked meal, not something from a restaurant.

The tea set was lovely, but honestly, the portion of sweets felt a bit small for the price. I left still wanting a little something more. The atmosphere is very peaceful though.

The cheese burger set was a solid lunch. The patty was coarsely ground, had that homemade taste. You could really savor the meat. Just the right kind of simple, hearty meal.

Convenient spot right on the main road, easy to find. It does get packed with both tourists and locals, but the service still runs smoothly. Portions are surprisingly generous for a cafe, which is nice.

The service here is pretty good, very attentive. We had the zunda mochi, which was quite nice. The tea was authentic, a decent spot for a quiet break.

Stumbled upon this place for a morning coffee. The egg sandwich was spot on, and they had a surprisingly good selection of single-origin beans. Sat outside with my cup, just what I needed to start the day. A bit on the pricier side for the coffee, but the vibe was right.

The tofu gratin set was very nice. It does take around 30 minutes to bake, so you need a bit of patience. The rice that comes with it was perfectly cooked and fluffy. A very comforting meal.

Upstairs seating is the best. So bright and spacious. Just sat there for hours with a book and a latte. Really chill spot.

The tables with phone chargers are a lifesaver! My phone was almost dead and it was so nice to just plug it in while I ate. The staff were really sweet about it too.

Got the oyakodon set for 1100 yen. Simple self-service spot, but the chicken and egg were really comforting. Just what I needed for a quiet lunch.

The staff was really nice and helpful. They saw I was struggling with the Japanese menu and quickly brought me an English one. Everything came out fast, no long waits. Good service.

Been coming here for years, and their coffee is always consistent. That's what keeps me coming back.

Perfect for a quick coffee break. The hojicha latte is smooth, just sweet enough. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Place is quiet even though it's near the market. Got my drink fast.

The cream croquette lunch was tasty. Their house coffee was a nice pairing, and the whole thing was under ¥1500.

Stopped in before heading to Nijo Castle. The curry was the highlight for me - rich flavor, tender meat. Sandwiches were solid. Staff were very friendly. A good, quick lunch spot right across from the castle.

Friendly staff. Served on antique plates, even told us the story behind the glassware. Felt like a cozy visit, not just a meal. 👍

The French toast is the star here. It's soaked all the way through, not just a surface thing. The fresh berries on top were a nice, tart contrast to the maple syrup. Solid brunch spot.

The matcha Basque cheesecake was so creamy, not too sweet at all. Shared it with a couple friends after dinner, and we all agreed it was the best part. The cheese toast was nice too, simple and warm. Good for a casual catch-up!

The katsu curry with the little bear-shaped rice was such a fun touch. The staff were really kind and attentive, which made the whole meal feel relaxed. Portions are generous for the price, too.

The chilled zenzai was a perfect match for the warm day. The mochi had a great texture, and the drink pairing suggestion was spot on.

Stopped in to get out of the rain. Had a hot tea and their handmade chocolate while sitting by the garden window. It was really nice and quiet.

Been coming here for years. It's my go-to spot when I need to get some work done. The vibe is always calm and quiet, even when the market outside is crazy. That's what keeps me coming back.

The back garden with the maple tree was lovely. The kids really liked the homemade miso dressing. But the portion for the katsu curry felt a bit small for the price. The pork and chicken were crispy though.

Found this quiet spot that does a proper cortado! Finally. Their single-origin list is impressive, and the coffee itself was so smooth. A bit on the pricier side, but I'll be back just for that cortado. ☕️

Portions are on the smaller side, which is actually nice if you want to try a few things. The warabimochi and matcha jelly were really good. I had a chilled sake with them, and the pairing was spot-on.

Nice quiet spot in the middle of the city. Came in for a late lunch, just me and a book. Could actually hear myself think for once. The hum from the street was barely there.

The dim lighting and all the wood inside gave it such a cozy, mellow feel. Found it by accident and it was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. Really liked the vibe here.

The coffee here has a lovely fragrance. I went for a lighter roast today, and it was just right—smooth, not bitter at all. Really appreciate that they offer different roast options.
