The steak au poivre with that risoto de limão siciliano was really good. Nice spot for a drink and something solid to eat.

The cashew-lime sake cocktail was so refreshing, and that tasting menu really filled me up. Just watch that step at the entrance.

The fried noodles and kialza are always solid, and I like watching the kitchen through that big window. Gets pretty crowded though, so come early if you can.

The cold noodle appetizer was the best part—really tasty. Other dishes were fine, nothing crazy. Quick spot for a casual lunch.

Tiny place, only a few seats. Chef makes everything right in front of you, fish was super fresh. Room was dead quiet though, could use some music.

Stopped by after wandering around Liberdade. Got the curry and udon — both hit the spot. Place feels more like a cozy home than a restaurant, which was a nice change from all the sushi spots around. Nothing fancy, just solid comfort food. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The tanuki roll at the sushi bar was the standout. Really creative take, tasted fresh and had a nice kick to it. Went for something different than the usual salmon or tuna and it paid off. Good spot if you're into trying stuff off the beaten path. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but the flavor made up for it.

Been here a few times now and the sushi is always fresh. Service is quick too, which I appreciate. Prices are fair for the quality. The seats are comfortable enough that I didn't feel rushed. Just wish they had a bit more space between tables, but it's fine for a quick lunch.

The cupim casquerado really stole the show for me. So tender and fatty, just the way I like it off the grill. We got the small portion and honestly it was plenty for two of us, especially with some cold draft beer on the side. First time trying this place and I'd go back just for that dish.

Came for the wontons and left happy—those things are seriously good. I paired them with a cold beer and it hit the spot. The chow mein was solid too, though the fried squid could've used a bit more salt. Service was quick, no complaints there. Prices fair for what you get.

The mille-feuille from their bakery was really good. I’m not usually one for sweets but I tried the macarons too and they were light. Even the fresh guava on the side was a nice touch. I just wish I had more room to try everything. Service was friendly and let me take my time deciding.

The open-faced esfihas are the real deal here. Dough's so thin it's almost see-through, and they don't skimp on the filling. I got the three-cheese one and it was properly seasoned, not bland like some places. Place itself is pretty basic though, nothing fancy, but the food does the talking.

Seafood platter here is solid — shrimp, squid, octopus, mussels for like R$22. Portion's huge. Been coming back for years, still good.

The salmon sashimi here is the real deal. Thick cuts, fresh, melts right away. Had the harumaki too, made after I ordered it, still hot when it hit the table. Place is right by Faria Lima station, easy to find. Sushi was well presented but honestly I just care about the fish. It delivers.

Went on a Saturday night, place was packed. Still, the oysters were super fresh, honestly the highlight. Service kept up even with the crowd, which surprised me. Just wish the table wasn't so close to the door, kept getting a draft. Anyway, if you like oysters, this is the spot.

The onion fries were the real deal, crispy and well-seasoned. I had the Queensland chicken and shrimp pasta, that spicy sauce had a nice kick to it. Place was a bit loud for my taste, but honestly, the food made up for it. Would've loved a better wine option to go with the heat, though.

The teishoku set here is solid — tasted like proper home cooking, not fancy but comforting. Coffee jelly with ice cream was a nice way to finish. Service was friendly, just a bit slow when it got busy.

Decent spot for a weekday lunch. Food was good quality, though it gets busy around noon. Went after 1:30 and got the 20% off kilo price, which was a nice touch.

Spinach lasagna with that Indian twist? Wasn’t sure at first, but it actually worked. The juice of the day was a nice touch too. Staff didn’t hover, just checked in when needed. R$48 felt fair for what you get. Solid spot if you’re nearby and want something different.

Solid meats and frites, nothing fancy but really hit the spot. Location is super convenient if you're already in the neighborhood. Would come back for the steak.

The baião de dois here is seriously good—well-seasoned and generous enough for three or four people. The live forró music adds a nice touch without being overpowering.

Good beer, always cold, and the food was solid for the price. Waiters checked on us just enough. Nothing fancy, but I'd come back.

The chicken croquette was the best thing I ordered. Juicy inside, well-seasoned, and I finished it way too fast. Burgers are fine too, but fries are just average. One thing I noticed—the service charge is optional but they add it automatically. Just check your bill. I'd go back for that croquette though.

The Friday seafood buffet is no joke — lobsters, shrimp, octopus, all you can eat. Pricey, but the spread is solid. Service was good too.

Food came out fast, which is all I really ask for on a lunch break. Got the daily special and it hit the spot. Place was busy but still got a table quick. No complaints about the service either. Solid spot if you're in a rush and want something decent.

Been coming here for months now, still hits the spot every time. Buffet near Paulista is always fresh, salads and hot dishes change up a bit but quality stays solid. Not the fanciest place but for a quick lunch it does the job. Staff remembers me by now, that says something.

The dim sum here is really tasty and the prices are fair. Just be ready for a bit of chaos with the service and some language issues. We managed fine with pointing and smiling. The place was busy but we got a table without waiting too long. I'd come back for the har gow alone, honestly. Just don't expect a smooth, quiet meal.

The burger was solid—cooked right, juicy, decent bun. Staff kept checking in without hovering. Place is dark though, almost cave-like. Not sure I'd bring a date who wants to see their food, but it works for a casual bite. Had a malbec that paired better than expected with the smoky flavor. Just wish they'd dim the lights a bit less.

The vibe here is really cozy, and the snacks hit the spot. Prices are a little steep though, pretty typical for the area I guess.
