Had the Labskaus yesterday. Honestly pretty solid - beets and herring worked well together, mashed potatoes were creamy. Portion was generous, left full. Place has that rustic Hamburg vibe, wooden tables, no fuss. Only thing: service took a while to get the bill. But the food made up for it.

The outside looks like a typical rustic spot, but inside it’s got this unexpected elegance. Brought the kids and the dog, no problem at all. Staff was friendly enough. I had a glass of their house red with the schnitzel, decent pairing for the price. Place has a nice relaxed vibe, though it did get a bit loud later in the evening.

Stopped by for a quick bite around noon. Got the grilled chicken plate — came out fast, still hot. Sauce was decent, nothing fancy. Place was busy but I didn’t wait long. Fair price for what you get. Solid spot if you’re in a hurry and want something fresh.

Solid homemade pickled beef with fried potatoes. You can tell it's family-run, everyone's friendly. Food's made with care. Portion was decent for the price. Place isn't fancy, but that's fine. Would eat here again if I'm in the area.

Stayed here for a few nights while exploring the town and the coast. Parking was easy, which is always a win. Room was quiet, slept well. Beach is a short walk away, so location really is the selling point. Nothing fancy, but solid for the price. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

We've been regulars here for ages, mostly for New Year's Eve. The buffet spread is huge, and the staff actually remember us. Only thing is it gets really loud, hard to have a proper conversation. But the food makes up for it.

The salad bar was a nice touch — I actually filled up on that before the main even came. Fries were crispy, croquettes tasty too. Solid spot if you want something hearty without overthinking it.

Fries were properly crispy and seasoned, big portions for the price. Right by Holsten Gate, handy for a quick bite.

Prices run a bit higher than other Asian spots around here, but the portions are decent for what you pay. Food was solid, service friendly enough. Fine for a casual meal in Lübeck.

Service was solid even packed on a Saturday. Got us a table without a reservation and kept checking in. Burger was good, though the back corner near the toilets is a bit tired.

The rump steak and crispy potatoes were done right. Asked for a small change and they handled it no problem. Place has that rustic feel, nothing fancy. Solid spot.

The staff handled our special requests so well, and the food was delicious. Left full and happy.

Solid spot in Kiel. Young team, clearly into what they do. Food’s grounded but polished—not too fussy for someone like me who’s not deep into fine dining. Had a good evening, left satisfied. Maybe a bit pricey for the portion, but fair enough.

Stopped by for lunch during a work trip. Got the daily special, decent portion for the price. Service was quick, no fuss. Cakes looked good but didn't try one. Fine if you need a solid meal without wasting time. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The seafood pasta was fresh and the tiramisu hit the spot. Second visit the service dragged a bit, but for the price, the portions were solid.

The fish was fresh and cooked just right, portions were generous too. Staff checked on us a few times without being pushy, which I appreciated. Just the kind of service that makes a meal easy. Nothing fancy about the place, but it worked well for a relaxed dinner.

The weekly special was solid — lamb stew, properly seasoned, not greasy. Small menu but everything looked fresh. Portion was decent for the price.

Stopped by for a quick lunch near the old harbor. Looks like a simple snack bar from outside, but the food surprised me. Had the catch of the day — fresh and well seasoned. Owner’s a bit of a character, but service was quick. Nice rustic nautical vibe inside.

The chocolate lava cake was the move after dinner. Rich, warm, and the center flowed just right. I paired it with a glass of their house red, which cut through the sweetness nicely. Not a huge portion, but enough. Service was fine, though I did wait a bit for the bill. Solid spot for a casual dessert stop.

The fried potatoes were seriously good 😋 Service was friendly and quick too. Nice spot if you're hanging out with friends and want something fresh without the fuss.
