The mascarpone with strawberry dessert was the highlight. Staff pointed me to it, good call. Quick stop for something sweet, no complaints.

Stopped by for a quick dinner, staff was genuinely friendly. Had the schnitzel, decent size, crispy outside. Sauce was a bit heavy for my taste though. Place gets busy around 7, so come earlier if you want a quiet table. Fair price for what you get, nothing fancy but solid.

The chef came out to talk through the specials and ended up making a custom vegetarian plate on the spot. That kind of personal touch goes a long way. I had a nice glass of Riesling with mine, which worked well with the lighter flavors. Food was solid, room was a bit quiet for my taste, but overall a good find.

Stopped by for a quick dinner, got the minced meat skewer. Really solid, juicy, good char on it. The appetizer platter had some interesting spice mixes, not the usual stuff. Sat out back on the terrace, chill vibe. Service was a bit slow but whatever, food made up for it. Fine spot if you're into Turkish.

Stopped by for a late lunch, place feels like a proper Polish home kitchen. Owner’s a real character, very welcoming. Had the meatballs and dumplings—both hit the spot, simple and hearty. Just don’t come in a rush, service moves slow. That’s fine by me, adds to the vibe.

The beef and cheese pizza with marmalade was surprisingly good. Fair price for what you get. Handmade pasta was solid too. Just watch out, some dishes and the wine by the glass are a bit steep. Still, decent spot for a quick lunch if you're in the area.

The seafood platter was spot on — fish tasted like it came straight off the boat. I paired it with a crisp white wine they suggested, worked really well. Sitting right on the water helped too. Service kept things moving without hovering. Only minor thing, the place got a bit busy later, but that's on us for the timing.

Stopped by for a quick dinner with a friend and honestly, the food was solid. Nothing fancy, just honest Indian flavors that hit the spot. We shared a few dishes and everything came out hot and tasty. Place is pretty casual, so don’t expect anything fancy. Good enough for a chill hangout though 😊

Solid pasta, decent prices for what you get. Staff was friendly, place felt cozy. Had the truffle tagliatelle, pretty good. Maybe a bit loud inside, but whatever. Fine spot if you're in the area and don't wanna overthink dinner.

The grilled octopus was honestly the best I’ve had—tender and smoky. Portion size was decent for the price. The host kept bringing ouzo shots, which was a nice touch.

Great pizza, and they let me swap toppings without any fuss. Staff were friendly too. Nice spot if you've got a dog with you.

The antipasti platter was solid and big enough to share. Prices felt fair for what you got. Place was packed on a Saturday, so booking ahead is a must.

We stopped by on a Saturday night and it was packed. Got the steak, cooked properly, nice char on the outside. The chimichurri really made it. Service was friendly but a bit stretched, took a while to get the bill. Still, I'd come back for that meat. Prices are fair for what you get.

Been coming here for a while now. The food stays consistent, which is honestly why I keep going back. Had the schnitzel again last week, still solid. Service though, yeah, can be a bit all over the place. Some days you get someone really on it, other days you're waiting a while. Not a dealbreaker for me, but I can see how it'd annoy someone visiting for the first time.

The schnitzel was crispy and tender, big portion with sides. Solid spot for traditional German food in Kiel. Got in and out quick.

The vegetarian burger was a solid pick — good value and fresh ingredients. Fish portions felt a bit small for what you pay, though. Nice beer garden to sit in.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Salad was fresh and big enough to share. Tried the currywurst too — sauce had a bit of a kick, pretty solid. Place was busy but fine. Nothing fancy, just decent food at a fair price. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Waffles were good and the coffee did the job. Dog got a welcome too, which was nice. Terrace seating was fine, but we almost walked past the place—signage along the promenade is pretty weak.

The outdoor seating is honestly the best part here—super comfy and chill for hanging out with friends. Service was friendly too, never had to wait long for anything. Inside feels a bit old-school, but who cares when you can sit outside? 😊 Would come back just for that vibe.

The breakfast spread here is really good. Lots of hot options and the ingredients tasted fresh. Morning staff were friendly too. I tried dinner once and it was okay, but not quite the same level. The menu sounds interesting but the execution felt a bit off. Stick to breakfast if you're in the area.

The salmon burger was pretty good—juicy, well-sauced. Staff were friendly, even cracked a few jokes. Plenty of space right by the docks. Decor's a bit odd with the pipe theme, but not a dealbreaker. Decent spot if you're in the area.

Solid pizza and friendly staff — exactly what I needed for a quick bite. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. 🍕

Grilled herring and matjes were super fresh, honestly some of the best I’ve had. Fried potatoes with bacon on the side? Yes please. Simple food, no fuss, exactly what I wanted. Place is small and got busy fast, but that just made it feel lively. Good spot to grab dinner with friends if you don’t mind a bit of a wait 🙂

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the fried herring — really fresh, not oily at all. The cod in white wine sauce was decent too. Loved that they bring bread with lard on the side, kinda old-school but tasty. Place is small and cozy, feels very traditional. Service was a bit slow but fine.

The owner was super friendly and the marinated olives really stood out. Pasta was solid too. Nice little spot in Bad Segeberg, though seating felt a bit cramped.

The steak was cooked properly and the Bordeaux pairing worked well. Service friendly, though the dining room feels a bit dated. Pricey for what it is, but the wine list saves it.

The food here is consistently good—refined without being fussy. Beer prices are fair too. Staff were patient with our baby and our broken German. We keep coming back for that.

We celebrated my husbands birthday with family and had the 6 course surprise menu with wine pairing. Both food and service excellent and I would go back any day. Value for money, great staff and a lovely decorated table and room.

Food was decent, but honestly the service threw me off. One waiter was clearly getting a hard time from his coworkers, made the whole room feel awkward. I get that restaurants get busy, but that kind of tension is hard to ignore. I'd probably come back for the food, but I'd sit at the bar next time.

The terrace view of the sea is the main reason to come here. Food was fine, nothing fancy, but sitting outside made it worth it. Service was okay too, though it got a bit busy later.
