Stopped by for lunch, place is clean and the playground kept the kids busy. Food was decent, nothing fancy but solid. Card payment worked fine, which is always a plus around here. Service was alright, not too slow. There's a hotel upstairs too, handy if you're from out of town. Wouldn't mind coming back.

The garden is lovely even in summer heat—shaded spots make it bearable. My daughter loved the shrimp curry, called them the best she's ever had. 🌿

Came here during the restaurant festival. Food was solid, no complaints. Had the beef tartare and it was fresh, seasoned well. Place was busy but we got a table without waiting too long. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Prices fair for what you get. Would eat here again if I'm in the area.

Stopped by to grab a gift box and ended up chatting with the owner for a bit. He really knows his stuff, pointed me to a few things I wouldn't have picked myself. The box went over well, so I'll take that as a win. Place is small but packed with good options.

The chimichangas were honestly the highlight—crispy, loaded, and really flavorful. Service was quick too, which I appreciated. The space itself is gorgeous, right in the center. But the cocktails fell flat, and it ended up being the priciest meal we had in Czechia. Maybe stick to the food here.

Great pizza spot in Ostrava! Dough was fresh and they don't skimp on toppings. Just remember to bring cash, no cards accepted. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends 🍕

The service here really stood out—Aleš was warm without hovering, made everything feel easy. Pizza had that proper smoky char from the wood oven, crust was nice and chewy. Just wish the place wasn't quite so busy, felt a bit rushed toward the end. But honestly, the vibe was good and I left satisfied.

Stopped by for a drink before heading to Stodolní and honestly the terrace out front is the reason to come. Staff kept up fine even when it got busy. Nothing fancy but it does the job.

Been coming here for years and it never lets me down. Beer garden's still the best spot in town when the weather's good. Prices fair for what you get.

The Tom Yum hotpot was spot-on, proper authentic and full of flavor. The house white wine surprised me too—dry but not too sharp. I sat near the window and the chairs were actually comfortable enough to stay for another round. Solid place if you're craving real Asian food in the area.

Decent spot for breakfast in Ostrava. Portion was big enough for the price, nothing fancy but it did the job. Coffee could be stronger though.

Came for the terrace with our dogs—they let us in without any fuss. That alone made my evening. Food was solid too, nothing crazy but decent. Waiters were nice about the whole pet thing. Just wish the terrace had a bit more shade, it got warm fast. Still, nice spot to just sit and not think.

The duck was spot on, and that beef sirloin in cream sauce hit the spot. Homemade elderflower lemonade is a nice touch too. Place feels more like a pub than a restaurant, but honestly that works.

Been here a few times now. Chicken vindaloo is solid, spice level actually matches what you ask for. Staff friendly enough, food comes out quick. Place gets busy around noon but they keep it moving. Not the cheapest lunch spot but you get what you pay for.

Came for lunch and tried the sour lentils with homemade bread—really hearty, just the kind of thing I needed. The Černá Barbora beer was a nice touch too. Service was quick and friendly, which I appreciated. Only thing is the seating could be a bit more comfortable, but for a casual stop it was fine.

Bartender here is something else, honestly. Keeps the whole place fun without trying too hard. I’ve been to a lot of spots in Ostrava and nobody runs a bar quite like him. Drinks came quick, he had a joke ready, just a really easygoing vibe. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that’s on us for staying.

The schnitzel on Tuesdays is the reason to go. Big portion, decent price, and it fills you up properly. The pub itself is nothing fancy, just a regular neighborhood spot. Service was quick enough, which I appreciate. If you're nearby and want a solid meal without overthinking it, this works. Not a destination, but a reliable stop.

The bowling alley in the back is such a fun touch. Beer was fresh, and the vibe felt properly Czech. Good spot if you're with a bigger group.

Dropped by for dinner, no big expectations. The chef's doing something real here. Little surprise bites between courses caught me off guard, in a good way. Had the tasting menu, every plate had actual thought behind it. Not cheap, but you can see where the money goes. Place was quiet on a Tuesday, service kept it smooth. Worth remembering.

Decent portions for the price. Got the pasta, plate was full. Paid like 200 crowns, felt fair for what you get. Nothing fancy but fills you up.

Cozy spot near Stodolní. Waitress knew her wine, picked a fresh white that was spot on. Good for a date or just hanging out with people. Nothing fancy, but it worked.

Ice cream’s legit here. Sweet potato and mulberry actually taste like the real fruit, not fake syrup. Pricey for the center, but you get what you pay for.

We came here with a group and ended up going twice during our stay. The food is really fresh, you can tell they don’t cut corners with the ingredients. I had the grilled octopus and it was tender, not rubbery at all. The Greek music in the background made it feel more authentic. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe a bit busy in the evening, but that’s a good sign I guess.
