The roast of the day was a solid plate—plenty of veg and the gravy was decent. For the price, you can't really complain. Filled me up, that's for sure.

The chef actually came out to explain each dish — that was the highlight for me. Staff were attentive without hovering, and knew the menu inside out. Made the whole evening feel a bit more personal, you know? Didn't expect that level of care from a casual spot.

Stopped by for a flat white and a bite. Coffee was solid, food came out quick. Staff were friendly enough, no complaints. It's the kind of place you can pop into without overthinking it. Not flashy, but does the job. Probably be back if I'm in the area and need something easy.

I had the Sunday Roast Roll, and it was absolutely delicious! The roasted pig and potatoes were perfectly cooked, and the sauce added a wonderful flavor. Highly recommend this dish for anyone visiting!

Tried their 7-course tasting menu with the sake pairings. The owner, who’s from Japan, walked us through each dish—really nice touch. Everything was beautifully presented. A bit on the pricey side, but a solid meal.

The Tom Yum noodle soup with beef hit the right balance of spicy and sour. Picked the medium heat level, worked well. Deep-fried squid was decent too, crispy enough. Service was quick but that's not why I'd go back.

We came here with a bigger group and they managed it pretty well. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. I had a couple of the fruity cocktails—easy drinking, nothing too strong. Food was decent too. Maybe not somewhere I'd rush back to on my own, but fine for a group thing.

The banana bread is the reason I come back. It's warm, dense, and the caramelized edges are perfect. I ended up ordering a second slice, then a third to take away. Just a really good version of a simple thing.
