Visited in early September. Rented a front row spot with umbrella and two loungers for 20 euros, good value. The mixed fried seafood and chicken puccia from the bar were solid. The sea is clear. A peaceful, relaxing day.

The mixed roast was fantastic, and their house red was a surprisingly good pairing. Generous portions too.

The bread with olive oil and watermelon emulsion was a nice touch, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Been coming here for years. The tiramisu is the reason. It's always just right, not too sweet, with that perfect coffee-soaked layer. That's the one thing I order every single time.

Found this cute little family spot in Gallipoli! They had some solid veggie options, which was a nice surprise here. The pasta was simple but really tasty. Just a chill place to catch up with friends over a long meal.

A real local spot with no tourist fuss. Loved the simple, honest food - felt like a proper home-cooked meal.

The staff were so welcoming. They took us on a tour of the estate, which paired nicely with a glass of their house red before dinner.

The grilled prawns were the star for me. So juicy and that smoky flavor was just right. The carpaccio was fresh too, nice presentation. A solid spot for seafood.

The ice cream was creamy, just right. Crepes were solid, not too sweet. I liked the texture of the crepe itself, a good chew to it. Simple but done well.

Staff was super nice, made us feel at home right away. The host even remembered my name from a visit months ago. Just a really friendly spot to grab a bite.

The Salento pittole were just like my nonna used to make. Really took me back. The place itself is a bit cramped, but the food makes up for it.

The pistachio tiramisu was a standout, really good. The local spumone is also worth ordering. The space itself is lovely, with these big windows that let in so much light during the day.

The space is so clean and calm, it feels like a little oasis. The owners have really created a lovely, zen-like atmosphere. It’s very simple and inviting, which made for a very relaxing lunch.

Staff were super nice and helpful. I asked for a custom birthday cake, and they got it exactly right. It was just what I wanted.

The linguine with sea urchins was the highlight for me. The sea urchin was incredibly fresh, with a clean, sweet taste that wasn't overpowering. You could tell it was sourced well. The pasta was cooked just right, too. A lovely, simple dish that let the quality ingredients shine.

Seafood was great. Desserts from the downstairs bakery are a must.

Found this spot away from the crowds. Loved how quiet it was, felt very personal. The ingredients in my main dish tasted incredibly fresh, you could tell they were high quality. A nice place for a proper dinner.

Staff are super friendly, made me feel right at home. Cozy spot for a quick bite. Got my order fast, perfect for a lunch break.

The fried fish here is really nice. I liked that the tables were spaced out well, so it wasn't too crowded. A comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

Cozy little place in Lecce. The Salento food is generous and tasty. Service was fast but not pushy. Prices are fair for what you get.

Foscolo is a hidden gem with a refined atmosphere and a focus on high-quality local cuisine. The value for money is excellent, making it a must-visit for anyone in the area.

Loved the tucked-away spot on that old town alley. The whole vibe was just right for a long, slow dinner with a glass of wine. Felt like we stepped out of the city for a bit.

Stumbled in for a late lunch. The pizza was really good, but the best part was just sitting at that corner table by the window. The light was perfect, and it felt so calm in there.

The seafood salad and mussels were spot on. They paired a local white wine with the mussels that really brought out the pepper. Fresh ingredients, true to the region. A solid choice for traditional flavors.

Stopped by for a coffee after the beach. The almond shakerato was really good, creamy and not too sweet. Friendly staff, simple spot.

The gelato was so creamy, flavors really stood out. Just sitting in the main square with it was the best part of my afternoon. A bit pricey, but that texture!

The sea urchin linguine was delicious. Very comfortable seating, which made the meal so much more relaxing.

The staff here are so nice. They made a small change to my pasta without any fuss, just a friendly smile. Felt like dropping by a neighbor's place.
