Don’t forget sea shoes for comfort on the pebbles, and pack a sun hat—the Puglian sun is fierce, and shade is limited! The snack bar nearby offers the perfect cappuccino break or an authentic panino for lunch.

Make your way to Bari to explore Fortino S. Antonio. This ancient seafront bastion is a local favorite for golden hour vibes—hang around as the sun sets for iconic photos of old city walls glowing against the Adriatic. Walk the promenade leading up to the fort for amazing panoramic shots of Bari’s harbor, and peek into pop-up exhibitions or weekend markets sometimes hosted here.
