The bamboo dish (#10) is worth the trip to Oulu alone. Fresh ingredients, nicely balanced. Gets busy so service slows down, but I keep coming back for that plate.

Tucked inside that old wool factory in Pikisaari—the space alone got me. Tasting menu felt like a slow, thoughtful ride. Each plate had its own quiet logic. Nothing rushed, nothing loud. Just good food and that raw industrial shell around us. Maybe not for everyone, but it stayed with me.

The burgers are solid, no complaints there. But the dining room felt a bit cold and sterile for my taste. I'd honestly just grab takeout next time and get the animal-style fries with it. Service was fine, nothing to fuss about. Just wish the seating area had a bit more warmth to it.

Found this place upstairs, easy to miss. Cozy spot, and their wine pairing with the main course was spot on.

Stumbled in here on a cold evening and grabbed the alcoholic kakao. Warm, rich, definitely does the job. Bar itself is cozy, easy to just sit and hang out. Didn't eat much but the menu looked decent. Fine spot if you're in the area and need a drink.

Got off the bus starving and walked into this place. Pizza was solid and the staff actually seemed happy to be there. Good spot if you're passing through.
