The strawberry matcha is great, made with real strawberry puree. The tea house itself is really sweet and beautifully decorated.

The staff here is so helpful when I ask about ingredients. They really take the time to explain things.

Been coming here for years. The mocha tesora, creamy with medium sweetness and a touch of honey, is my go-to. It's always exactly how I like it. That kind of consistency is why I keep coming back.

Just had their basic pizza to see if they get the fundamentals right. The crust had a perfect crisp, and the sauce was bright and tangy. Honestly, one of the best I've had in ages. Already thinking about coming back for their dessert pizza.

Solid neighborhood spot. Came for a quick bite after work, the vibe is very Oakland. Convenient location near the office, easy to grab a beer and a burger. Good for what it is.

Solid tiki spot for a quick drink. Their bowls are strong and shareable, good value. The neighborhood vibe is chill. Just what you need after a long day.

Been coming here for years. The breakfast burrito is solid, good portion and the eggs are always cooked right. Coffee's decent. Place is clean and the folks working are nice. Just wish the soup was a bit hotter sometimes.

Stopped by this French bakery. Cozy spot. The pistachio cake was really good, not too sweet. Also tried the Paris-Brest - the choux pastry was light. A solid little find.

The ice cream was really good! Just a heads up, it's made fresh for each order, so there can be a bit of a line when it's crowded. I didn't mind waiting, but maybe grab a coffee nearby first if you're in a hurry.

Love the open kitchen here — you can watch the bakers shaping dough while you wait. It's a nice little spot, but it does get crowded since there aren't many seats. The sourdough loaf I got was crusty and chewy, just how I like it.
