The pizza was pretty good. Maro was a decent host, offered us some champagne while we waited.

The fried calamari was a standout. Light, crispy batter, not greasy at all. The rest of the menu looked good, with plenty of veggie choices and that long, rolled pizza. Calamari portion was a bit small for the price, but the quality was there.

The gnocchi al ragu was the star for me. The pasta was so light and the sauce had this rich, slow-cooked depth. Focaccia sandwich was a solid choice too. Just a really satisfying lunch.

We were struggling to find a good restaurant on a Sunday evening when we found Tola Rasa - and hit the jackpot! Original, inventive twists on the regional cuisine, beautifully and artistically served.  We felt the full tasting menu was too much so we were allowed to choose three courses and dessert - much appreciated.  And to top it all off, the wine list was full of excellent reasonably priced choices.

Got a slice fresh from the oven at their tiny counter. The chef was chatting about the dough, you could feel the passion. Made the simple cheese slice taste&hellip; warmer, somehow. 🍕

The fish was so fresh, tasted like it just came from the sea. That&#39;s what I look for. The whole meal felt light and clean, just right for a healthy dinner. A bit on the pricier side, but you pay for that quality.

The ambience was quiet, clean, modern and we loved it!  Our was quite charming. Friendly and informative, he helped with the wine selection and it was the right choice.  The food was excellent; Great antipasti and primi pasta dishes for both of us.  And the dolci&hellip;rich and delicious!  We&rsquo;ll be back the next time we are In Padova!

As always the staff is very nice and the food is always excellent, if we have to find a little flaw, the sponge cake of the dessert was dry, but this did not change the experience which was positive. We will definitely be back to try new dishes!
