The staff here are so attentive, especially Diane and Ben. They remembered my preference for extra lemon in my water without me asking. That kind of attention to detail is lovely. The service really made the lunch feel relaxed and personal.

Lovely little spot! We were a group of three and left stuffed and smiling. The service was friendly and the food hit the mark – especially that mushroom risotto, so creamy and rich. We'll be back for sure.

Been coming here for years, their Sunday roast is the real deal. The beef was so tender it just fell apart. Roasties and veg spot on as always. Nice they let us bring the dog in too, makes it easy.

Stayed here for a few nights. The rooms are simple but clean. I really appreciated the pub downstairs—the salads were fresh and crisp, with a good variety of greens. Nice to have a healthy option so readily available. The weekend music was a bit loud for an early night, though.

Been coming here for years, always get the same thing. Food's just as good as it was when I first started. Staff are friendly, but they're always in a bit of a rush.

Love the open kitchen here! It's so cool to watch the chefs work up close. My pasta came out super fast even though the place was packed.

Grabbed a takeaway from here before heading to the beach. The location is spot on for that. The portion size for the price was decent, enough for a proper lunch by the sea.

Staff here are super friendly and attentive. The place gets packed but they handle the rush well. Love that it's a family-run spot supporting other local producers.

The Sunday roast beef was the star. Cooked perfectly pink, tender and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The Yorkshire pudding was a bit dry, but the gravy was rich and saved it. That's what I came for.

Good selection of gluten-free dishes. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the smoothie was fresh. The kids enjoyed it. A solid choice for a family meal.

The crab nachos on the specials board were fantastic. The soft lighting in the room just made it feel so calm and unhurried. A really nice spot to unwind.

Greek chicken skewers were spot on, juicy and charred just right. The flatbread was warm and pillowy. My vegetarian mezze plate looked lovely, everything tasted fresh. Cocktails were a nice touch, well-balanced. A solid meal.

The fish and chips were pretty good, cooked fresh. The batter was decently crispy. The homemade curry sauce was a nice touch, though the portion felt a bit on the smaller side.

The staff were lovely. One server was especially kind on a busy Saturday, even brought water and treats for our dogs. The wine list had some nice local options, though the one I chose was a bit too oaky for my taste. Still, a thoughtful touch.

Friendly staff, they helped us pick. Food was really good, and honestly the best prices I've seen around Newquay. Just what you want after a long beach day.

The staff were so nice on the phone, really patient while I was figuring out what to get. It made ordering way less stressful.

Food was spot on for a quiet Monday. The owner even chatted about growing chillies, which was a nice touch.

Been coming here for years, and the steak and ale pie is always spot on. That flaky crust, the tender meat inside... it's just consistently good. You know what you're getting. The chips are solid too.

A very pleasant lunch spot. The Korean BBQ had a good selection of meats and the flavours were spot on. What really stood out was how friendly the owners were—they took a moment for a nice chat, which made the whole visit feel relaxed and welcoming.

Lovely, cosy pub. The fire was lit, and the whole place just felt warm and welcoming. Had the steak and ale pie - proper comfort food, really hit the spot. Just a nice, relaxed evening.

Been here a few times. The dining room is really something - high ceilings, old wood. Food's solid, especially the lamb. Carl, the manager, remembers regulars. Booked again for next summer.

The brisket fajita was huge, one is definitely a meal! Loved watching them cook it fresh. The smoky chipotle sauce was just right. Perfect for a casual catch-up with mates, we ended up sharing a few.

Friendly staff, quick to refill water and check in. They remembered we'd been before, which was a nice touch. Service felt attentive without being overbearing.

The staff were so attentive, checking in just enough without being intrusive. They noticed my friend needed a refill on water before we even asked. Really appreciated that level of care during our lunch.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented and a sensible size. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and discreet. It was a really lovely evening.

Just tried this place in the village for the first time. The chef really makes the most of local, seasonal stuff – my plate was full of things I’d never tried before. A nice surprise to find here.

Good selection across breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cakes and pastries are the standout for me. Tried the chocolate croissant and it was fresh, not overly sweet. Solid choice for a quick bite.

The cream tea was a real find! The scones were warm, and the clotted cream was so thick. A lovely walk on the headland afterwards just topped it off. A proper Cornish afternoon.

Love the art deco vibe here, really takes you back. Had the espresso martini, it was spot on. Just a bit too dim for my liking, but the atmosphere is cool.

The service here is pretty good. Staff are friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. They kept an eye on our table without being intrusive. A solid experience overall.
