Been coming here for years, always before my train. That pint of bitter is just right every single time. It’s the one thing I can always count on.

Been here a few times now, always solid. The beer selection is really good, and honestly the prices are way better than most places around here. Just a decent spot for a pint.

Nice spot for a post-walk pint by the canal. The service is always friendly and reliable, which I appreciate.

Popped in for a quick glass with friends. The place was absolutely buzzing, which was fun, but we did have to wait a bit for a table. Good energy for a catch-up though! 🍷

Great spot for a quick lunch. The beer garden is really nice on a warm day. Inside is comfy too. Got a burger and chips, came out fast. Exactly what you need when you're short on time.

The non-alcoholic beer on draft was a nice find. It had a good, crisp taste, and I appreciated having a proper option that wasn't just soda. Made for a pleasant, relaxed drink with my meal.

Solid Greek options on the menu, plus a few English classics. The vegetarian moussaka was the standout for me.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always been spot on. Even when they're packed, the kitchen doesn't miss a beat. That's why I keep coming back. Just remember to book ahead, it's the only way to guarantee a seat.

Despite being a bit out of the way, the views from The Wellington Inn are incredible. The service is impeccable, and the quality of food is consistently good, making it worth the journey.

The manager clearly cares about the cask ales here. You can taste the freshness in every pint. My pale ale was spot on, with that perfect cellar temperature. A real focus on quality ingredients.

The steak and ale pie was spot on, lovely flaky pastry and rich filling. Staff were quick and friendly, made us feel welcome. A good, reliable spot for a casual dinner.

Been coming here for years. The Chateaubriand for two is always cooked just right, a proper treat. The bar next door is handy for a drink before you sit down. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The food and drinks are consistently good, and the service team is friendly. It's a nice spot for a family meal.

The Hop's got a great beer selection, but honestly, it was the lighting that got me. Just these warm, low-hanging bulbs over the bar. Made the whole place feel so cosy and relaxed. Perfect for a chilled evening.

Love the vibe in this old pub. The Farmer's Blonde was poured just right, really hit the spot. Staff were super friendly, which just added to the relaxed feel. A proper, no-fuss place.

Been coming here for years. The vibe's really turned a corner lately, feels more buzzing than it ever has. Just had a pint and some scotch eggs, solid as always.

Popped in on a Friday afternoon. The portions were huge, which I appreciated. Had the grilled octopus – it was tender, with a nice char. My partner's pasta was a bit too al dente for her taste, but my dish was spot on. Good spot for a hearty meal.

The quiz night was a blast! It’s a proper local pub, always something going on. The live music last Thursday was a nice surprise, really added to the vibe. Makes it feel like a proper community spot.

Stumbled in on open mic night. The music was loud and fun, had a great vibe. The little side rooms are a nice escape when you need a minute away from the noise.

The bottomless brunch is such good value. The cocktails were top-notch, really well-made. Staff were lovely when we had a small voucher hiccup, sorted it straight away.

The full English was a solid portion, came out piping hot. Just what I needed on a cold morning. The bacon was especially good.

The tapas portions here are enormous, really good value. I found the food very tasty. The only thing is, the tables are quite close together, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy.
