The staff were really nice. Food came out quickly, which was a relief after a long day. Just a nice, calm vibe in there.

The landlord here is a gem. So friendly and genuinely wants everyone to have a good time. He checked on us a couple of times, made sure we had everything we needed. It's a small thing, but that kind of personal touch really makes a difference.

Lovely little pub, feels really cosy. They've got it split up into a few smaller rooms, which is nice. Makes it feel more intimate than one big open space.

Parking was a breeze, which is always a plus. The food arrived promptly and piping hot. My only note is that the wine list felt a bit limited for the menu—a more thoughtful pairing selection would really complement those hearty dishes.

The small plates menu is a real winner after their recent tweaks. The grilled octopus was spot on, and the burrata with heirloom tomatoes was super fresh. Perfect for sharing with a couple of friends.

A decent spot for local cask ales. They had a few from Wensleydale Brewery on my visit, which were pretty good. The bar staff were friendly and seemed to know their stuff.

The menu changes often, which I like. Last time the sea bass was cooked just right, skin crispy. I’ve been back a few times now.

Been coming here for years, and the half-and-half pizza is a lifesaver. Lets me get my usual pepperoni and still try something new.

Menu's a bit limited, but letting you bring your own food is a smart move. Good for when you're just there to watch the game.

I had an incredible meal with the gluten-free chicken burger, which was spot on! The service was attentive and made the visit even better.

No. 5 of Bars in Manchester

Came for a quick bite before the movies. Really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted in my salad, especially the greens. It felt like a proper, healthy start to the evening. Service was friendly and efficient, which was perfect for our timing.

Been here a few times for the bottomless brunch. Paolo, the floor manager, runs a tight ship, always on top of refills. Food's decent, drinks are good. A solid option if you're in the area.

We had a great time visiting the restaurant/bar on Sunday! The food was great, the drinks were amazing and the cocktails were buy one get one free! There's a lovely vibe and aesthetic. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming! Our only slight issue was when we arrived around an hour after opening we sat down to order and were told we couldn't order for another 40 minutes while the chief was on break. I'd say it would have been better if they had more staff. Overall a great experience ❤️ My partner enjoyed his meal and I loved the vegetarian options

Stumbled upon this place. The wine list is huge, had a great glass of red. Staff really knew their stuff when I asked. Cool, cozy spot.

Management handled the safety protocols well without killing the vibe. Tables were spaced, staff wore masks, and it still felt like a normal dinner out. Efficient and sensible approach.

The views are stunning, but the wine list is a bit limited. Had a decent Pinot Noir with my steak, but would have loved more local options to match the scenery. Still, a lovely spot for a quiet pint.

Lovely local pub. The staff are so friendly and helpful, which really makes it a nice spot to catch up with friends.

The staff were so nice, especially with our dog. They even brought him a water bowl. Felt like we were just popping round a friend's place.

Great place, friendly staff good GF options! Pizza/burgers also looked great. Beer pong and good cocktails on offer

Had a team dinner here last night. The staff were really attentive, made sure everyone's drinks were topped up without us having to ask. Made the whole thing run smoothly.

Lovely little pub, perfect for a chilly night. The wood-burning stove is a really nice touch. I appreciated that they had a couple of lighter, fresh salad options on the menu alongside the heartier pub classics. A nice spot to warm up.

Aqib was our server and he was great. Super friendly, knew the whole menu when we had questions. Service was quick and he just had a good vibe. Made the dinner feel really relaxed.

Loved the heated booths in the back garden. Perfect for a chilly evening, and just a short stroll from Victoria.

We've been coming for breakfast every week. I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients always taste, especially the avocado in my usual order. It's consistently good. Shanon is our regular waitress and she's lovely.

The old billiard hall interior is stunning, especially the Art Deco dome. A real treat for the eyes.

Spacious and spotless, with loads of comfy chairs. I love the modern, clean look they've got going on. For a spot so close to the city centre, it's surprisingly chilled. Perfect for a relaxed pint.

Booked the mezzanine for a group. Alex and the team handled everything so smoothly. The food was top-notch, and the vibe was just right for the evening.

Great spot for a catch-up with mates. We grabbed a table in the cosy back room and it felt really relaxed, not packed in at all. Plenty of room to actually hear each other talk!

This is now our go to carvery. Every visit is the same good service, good quality food and very welcoming, even if we have not booked a table. Thanks

Been coming here for years, and their brunch menu never disappoints. Tried the new avocado toast last Friday – just the right amount of everything. Staff remembered my usual coffee order, which is always a nice touch. Place was quiet for a change.
