Perfect spot to unwind after shopping. The steak & ale pie was so filling, great for sharing with a friend.

A proper pub with a lot of character. The coal fire makes it wonderfully cosy on a cold day. The staff are friendly and the seating is comfortable, which makes for a very relaxed visit.

The afternoon tea was lovely. I really enjoyed the setting. The scones were fresh and light, which was nice. I just wish there had been a couple more savory finger sandwiches on the tier. A bit more balance for a proper tea.

Came for the first time and loved the riverside spot. So much outdoor space to enjoy the view. It does get packed though, had to wait a bit even with a booking.

Love this place for a casual catch-up. The vibe is so relaxed, perfect for a chilled evening with friends. We had a couple of the house cocktails and just talked for hours. It's a bit dim inside, but that just adds to the cosy feel.

I had an amazing experience here! The staff, especially Louise, were incredibly helpful and made the night enjoyable. Highly recommend for a fun night out.

Popped in for a full English. Got it quick even though they were packed. Bacon was spot on, beans not too runny. Price felt fair. Just a solid, no-fuss fry-up.

Seated our group of 6 quickly, even though we showed up without a booking. Staff were really helpful getting us sorted. Perfect for a quick lunch when you're in a rush.

Portions here are generous for the price. Ordered the pad thai and green curry, both came out in big bowls. Left with a takeaway box, which is always a good sign for me. The menu is huge, so you can definitely find something.

Just had the carvery for lunch. Quick service, friendly staff. The roast beef was spot on, proper Yorkshire pudding too. Good for a quick bite. Menu's a bit limited but does the job.

The eggs benedict were just right for a lazy breakfast. They even did a smaller portion for my friend who doesn't eat much. Staff were really nice about it.

Stopped by after a travel mix-up, and the staff were so kind helping us sort it out. The pub felt really cozy and clean. Saw some amazing-looking fish and chips go by to another table – wish we'd had time to eat!

Had the beef Wellington. The pastry was flaky and buttery, the beef itself was cooked perfectly pink. The mushroom duxelles inside was a bit too salty for my taste, but the meat's flavour was spot on.

Tasha and Alex were so nice! They remembered we were celebrating a friend's new job and brought over a little extra dessert on the house. It was a sweet touch that made our night. The manager was also really friendly and checked in. Staff like that make you want to come back with friends.

The cod goujon sandwich was really tasty, and the chips were piping hot. I liked the vibe here – the place has a nice, relaxed feel to it. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Decent spot for a cheap pint. The space is huge, so even when it's packed you're not on top of each other. Grabbed some nachos to share – they were fine, nothing special, but hit the spot. Good for a casual weekend meet-up.

As a student, I really appreciate the reasonable prices here. The staff are lovely, and Benedict pours a great pint of Guinness. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe that's perfect for a casual hangout.

Staff were very helpful with my dairy-free request. They knew the menu well and made good substitutions. Service was efficient, no long waits.

Love the vibe in here - the dark wood and cosy corners make it feel like a proper old pub. Came in for a quiet pint on a Tuesday afternoon and it was just the spot. Could happily sit for hours.

Perfect for a quick catch-up. Tea was great, staff were very accommodating.

Booked a room for a birthday party. The staff handled everything smoothly, very professional. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Atmosphere was just right for the occasion.

Great spot for a quick pint. The Guinness is always spot on, poured right. Just what you need after a long day. Staff are friendly, no fuss. My go-to local.

Ordered their outside catering for a quick office lunch. The focaccia was fresh, cheeses were good. Everything arrived on time, which was key for us. Guests seemed happy. Simple and efficient.

The ordering app is a lifesaver when it's packed. Just tap and your food arrives. Saves the hassle of trying to flag someone down.

Been coming here for years, the Sunday roast is always reliable. The beef is sliced thick, just how I like it. Gravy’s spot on.

The pizza was really fresh, with a lovely thin crust and quality ingredients. Just what I was looking for.

Georgia was great. Super quick with the drinks, checked on us just enough. Made the quick lunch feel easy. 👍

Popped in for a drink on a Tuesday and got roped into the pub quiz. The staff were so welcoming about it, even found us a quieter table in the corner to join in. Made for a really nice, relaxed evening.
