The sourdough is great, crispy outside and soft inside. The breakfast platter with mushrooms and avocado is a good choice.

The tau foo fah was decent, texture was smooth. The brown sugar syrup is the real star here, very fragrant and not too sweet. That's what I come for.

The pan mee noodles had a nice, chewy texture. I also liked the creamy half-boiled eggs that came with it.

The Hainanese chicken rice here is the real deal. The rice itself is fragrant with chicken fat and ginger, and the chicken is incredibly tender, almost silky. The chili sauce has a nice kick without being overwhelming. That's what keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years, the nasi ganja is still the same. Good portion, flavour is strong. Staff know the regulars, always friendly. A bit pricier now but that's everywhere.

If you are in Taiping and looking for Dim Sum, this restaurant is a place to visit. However the taste of Dim Sum are just average. price wise is affordable, staffs are attentive, spacious environment and plenty of parking.

The staff were really helpful with the menu since I don't speak Mandarin. They took the time to explain a few dishes and didn't rush us at all. Made ordering a lot easier.

The Thai-style tofu in the claypot is the thing. The sauce is thick, a bit sweet and sour, with a good kick from the chilies. The tofu itself soaks it all up perfectly. That's what I come for.

A bit pricey, but the fresh ingredients are worth it for a treat.

Beef stew with rice was nice, good balance of meat and rice. The lemongrass chicken chop was tender too.

The mutton was so tender, and that curry fish gravy was thick and rich. Just right with the basmati rice.

The pork meatballs in the soup were huge and packed with flavor. The broth was light, but you could taste the hours of simmering. Really liked the quiet, cozy vibe of the place—just a few tables and soft lighting.

The famous fried noodles are worth the wait. Place is always packed but they get your order out quick.

Stall 36's curry mee was spot on, rich broth with just the right kick. C33's fish porridge was super comforting, the fish was fresh. So many other stalls looked good, I'll have to come back to try more.

Pasta was just okay, but the crozza and burgers are really good. Stopped by for a casual lunch and those two made it worth it.

Tried the pan-fried tilapia, eggplant, and shrimp with garlic. The shrimp portion was decent, but the tilapia felt a bit small for the price. Still, the flavors were good.

The Chettinad mutton was the star for me. So rich and spicy, it just worked with my pint of Guinness. A really good match.
