Ming Court HK Tim Sum is one of the famous Hong Kong style Tim Sum restaurant in Ipoh. Most of the time very crowded especially on weekend, many tourists for other states. We just need to wait their waitresses to bring some hot and delicious dim sums, their dim sum is really small compared to others, but the quality is good and delicious. 😋

Came for a quiet dinner. The Holland Mushroom was earthy and rich. Asked the server for a wine suggestion to go with it, and their Pinot Noir recommendation was spot-on. Really made the dish. Coffee was decent, but the wine pairing was the highlight for me.

A lovely little spot, great for a cozy date night. The staff were super nice about our last-minute booking!

Ong Kee Restaurant (安记芽菜鸡沙河粉) is located at Jalan Yau Tet Shin, Taman Jubilee, Ipoh, Perak. Famous for its chicken, Hor Fun & bean sprouts.
I went there on weekday, less crowds and served fast! The chicken was tasty and bean sprouts was crunchy and juicy!

Came for a quick lunch. They knew it was a birthday. Gave us a free dessert without us asking. That was a nice touch. Food came out fast too. Good for a quick bite when you're in a rush.

The wood-fired crust has a nice char, and the option to pick two toppings on one pizza is a smart move.

there are alot of stalls selling salted chicken in ipoh, but this will always be one of my favourite to-go stall. they will sell hot from the oven salted chicken or frozen ones for you to bring home as well.

Service was pretty good, they were friendly and found us a table even though we didn't book. Food was decent, though my main course arrived a little later than the others.

Been coming here since I was a kid. The new space is way bigger, which is nice. The owners are super friendly, always checking in. Got the curry laksa, and the portion was huge for the price. A solid spot in Ipoh.

Shailendra gave some good suggestions on what to order. The space itself is really comfortable for just hanging out and talking. I ended up liking the Bru Coffee and the Kulfi the most.

Korean creamy gochujang pasta was a delicious surprise.

The char siew here is so good! The char is just right, and the fat-to-lean ratio is spot on. Definitely the star of the meal with friends.

Friendly staff, always checking in. The portion size for the main course was generous, honestly more than I could finish. Good value for the price.

Found this spot for Halal Chinese and Nyonya food. Really appreciate the fresh ingredients in the dishes I tried. The dessert selection is a nice touch, felt like a wholesome meal. A bit busy, so booking ahead helped.

Lou Wang Bean Sprout Chicken(老黄芽菜鸡沙河粉) is another famous chicken rice brand in Ipoh, more crowded but i'd tried both, each has its own flavour and delicious!!
Open daily from 10.30am - 9pm.

The cold-pressed juice bar is the best part! You get to pick your own mix of fruits and veggies, and they press it fresh right there. It's a fun little thing to start the day. The rest of the breakfast spread is pretty solid too.

The nasi lemak at the breakfast buffet was fresh, and I appreciated the healthy sides like cucumber and boiled egg. A solid start to the day.

Zeann's service was spot on, attentive without being overbearing. The wine list had some interesting local options, and the staff suggested a nice pairing for my main. Made for a relaxed evening.

The dining room has such a nostalgic feel, like an old banquet hall. I really appreciate the warmth it adds to the meal.

Been here a few times. The place is clean, nice decor. Good for a quiet date. Their tea is something different, not like the usual stuff.

The team here is just so nice. I asked to swap out a side dish and they were totally cool about it, no questions asked. Felt like they actually listened.

The biryani rice was so flavorful, and the veg curries had a nice kick to them. Really hit the spot!

Easy to find in the city center, and the parking situation nearby is actually decent. The space itself has a nice, relaxed vibe with those big windows letting in all the natural light. Just a comfortable spot to sit and have a meal.

富山茶楼是家港式点心餐厅，名声不错，周末经常一位难求。用餐环境舒适店面也大，好处是设有外卖部。点心精致，食材品质都不错的。

The free water from the Coway dispenser is a nice touch. Really appreciated it on a hot day. The AC was strong too, kept the whole place cool and comfortable while we ate.

Plan B Ipoh is located at No.75, Jalan Panglima, Ipoh, Perak. It is a well known Asian fusion restaurant in Klang valley and have a branch in Ipoh old town. With an old classic style building and the decor is hipster setting, cozy and absolutely instagrammable! The food and beverage, variety of desserts were really good.

Been coming here for years. Sambal prawns with petai is my go-to for a quick lunch. The petai is fresh, gives it that kick. Claypot tofu is solid too. Gets the job done when you're in a hurry.

A pork-free Chinese breakfast spot, perfect for groups. The local vibe is authentic, and their house tea was a nice touch with the dim sum.

The curry bun is the only thing I come for. The bun itself is soft and fluffy, and the curry filling is thick, savory, and just spicy enough. It sells out fast, so you have to call ahead to see if they have it. Cash only, which is a bit of a hassle.
