It’s definitely on our list to do when we visit Ipoh! There are so so many choices and restaurants to be chose from in Ipoh and all comes with pretty good review. We picked Chooi Yue Dim Sum after having a hard time choosing and we were right. We all left with happy and very full tummy.Be sure to get there early as there was already a long queue when we reached around 930 in the morning. Once we got in, we were so spoiled with choices of dim sum! We ordered the classic Char Siew Pau, egg tarts, yam puff, siew mai, carrot cake. My personal favourite would be the liu sha pau that was stuffed with piping hot, smooth, creamy and buttery filling. The fried stuff were also nicely done, those were crispy and fragrant. Not forget to mention, the price point was very very reasonable! I can’t praise enough for this restaurant. All in all, I highly recommend a visit to Chooi Yue restaurant for Dim Sum if you are in Ipoh ! It’s definitely worth the wait.

Convenient spot with a good mix of local and western food. The booths are really comfortable for a relaxed meal.

Love the build-your-own bowl concept. Great variety of fresh toppings and seeds for a healthy meal.

The Indian food here is outstanding, with rich and authentic flavors that surpass many places back home in India. If you're craving real Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit!

Solid veggie options for a quick lunch. The mushroom soup was rich and creamy, really hit the spot. Pasta had good flavor too. Got my order in and out fast, perfect when you're in a rush. 👍

Phyo was super attentive. Noticed we weren't feeling great and brought us ginger tea without us even asking. That kind of service is a nice touch during a quick lunch.

Very good Chinese restaurant with variety of option and good prices. We enjoyed our dinner a lot.

Bob, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and provides great recommendations. The food is delicious and fairly priced, making it a fantastic dining experience.

The ancestor recipe deep fried pork belly is a must-try! It's incredibly flavorful and tender, making it one of the highlights of the menu.

The chapati set is always fresh, and the texture is just right. I appreciate how they use quality ingredients.

The Smokehouse is located in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands. It's a hotel and restaurant. The scones are excellent with a buttery taste with strawberry jam, and the waffle is crispy and tasteful! The place is absolutely aesthetic with a Old English style decor and architecture, surrounded by beautiful lushy garden. It's a insta-worthy place!

This cafe is a hidden gem in Cameron Highlands! The elderly couple running it are incredibly friendly, and the pancakes are a must-try. Great value for money!

The chili sauce is homemade, and it's pretty good with the steamboat. We also had the 'gui hua mi' noodles, which were nice. I'd probably order those again. The place was a bit loud, but overall a decent meal.

Portions are huge, perfect for sharing. Food came out piping hot, which I really appreciate. The lamb skewers were especially good, juicy and well-seasoned. A solid spot for a casual group meal.

Nice quiet spot. Had a quick breakfast here. Plenty of space, didn't feel crowded at all. Good for a relaxed bite when you're not in a hurry. Coffee was decent.

The hotel's location is pretty good. It's a short walk to the night market, which was handy for grabbing a quick bite in the evening. Made getting around the area quite easy.
