Halal spot next to the mountain, nice and quiet. The mutton curry was the star for me – the meat was fall-apart tender, cooked just right. Service was friendly. A solid, simple meal after a hike.

Third time here. The smoked duck aglio olio had just the right kick of spice, really hit the spot. The quesadilla was perfectly crispy too. It's that kind of reliable comfort food that keeps me coming back.

The braised pork and cuttlefish dish was quite good. The sauce was rich, but I really appreciated that the pork wasn't overly fatty. The cuttlefish pieces were tender and fresh, which is always a plus for me. A nice, hearty option.

Huge food court, tons of choices. Came with an empty stomach and still couldn't try everything I wanted! 🍻

Been coming here for years, and the bingsu is still the reason. That shaved ice texture never changes, always just right. The soufflé pancakes are a close second. It's my go-to spot in Taiping when I need that sweet fix.

The wait was a bit long, but they make each pizza fresh in that wood oven. Got the Margherita, and honestly, the crust was so good it made the wait okay. Just know you're not getting a quick bite here.

Curry was packed with flavor. Dosai had that perfect crisp. Felt like a proper meal. Authentic taste, no complaints. Place was clean and comfy. Solid spot.

The place is always buzzing, but they clear tables super fast. Even on a packed Saturday night, we got seated in like 10 minutes. Makes a huge difference when you're hungry.

Waited about 10 minutes for a table, which was fine. The chili crab was really tasty, just the right amount of spice. The seats were comfortable and not too close together, which I appreciate. A good spot for a relaxed meal.

Cozy spot, tried the vegetarian sushi. Portions were decent for the price. Got the lunch special, came with miso soup and salad. Felt like a good deal.

The staff were really helpful with the menu since I don't speak Mandarin. They took the time to explain a few dishes and didn't rush us at all. Made ordering a lot easier.

A bit pricey, but the fresh ingredients are worth it for a treat.

Beef stew with rice was nice, good balance of meat and rice. The lemongrass chicken chop was tender too.

The mutton was so tender, and that curry fish gravy was thick and rich. Just right with the basmati rice.

The famous fried noodles are worth the wait. Place is always packed but they get your order out quick.

Stall 36's curry mee was spot on, rich broth with just the right kick. C33's fish porridge was super comforting, the fish was fresh. So many other stalls looked good, I'll have to come back to try more.

Pasta was just okay, but the crozza and burgers are really good. Stopped by for a casual lunch and those two made it worth it.

Tried the pan-fried tilapia, eggplant, and shrimp with garlic. The shrimp portion was decent, but the tilapia felt a bit small for the price. Still, the flavors were good.

The Chettinad mutton was the star for me. So rich and spicy, it just worked with my pint of Guinness. A really good match.

Been coming here for years, and that peanut butter avocado toast never disappoints. It's such a weird combo but it just works. The dirty oat latte is my usual go-to with it. Always hits the spot for a chill breakfast.
