The old mill machinery is still there, which is a cool touch. The space itself is cozy, with the bookshop downstairs and the art gallery up a level. It's a nice spot to browse.

The owner was so kind to keep our little one entertained while we ate. It meant we could actually enjoy our hot food without rushing. That personal touch really stood out.

Staff remembered my usual order and had it ready when I walked in. That level of attention is efficient and appreciated. Makes a quick business lunch seamless.

Good value fish tea. The fish was huge, chips decent, coleslaw fine. Came with tea and ice cream. Portions are generous for the price. A solid option if you're hungry.

The grilled cheese was spot on, crispy outside and gooey inside. Chips were decent, nothing special. Just what I needed after walking all day.

Small soup & half sandwich combo is a great quick lunch. The Thai lentil soup is solid.

The food is consistently good value. I find myself visiting almost every week for that reason. The portions are decent, and the flavours are reliable. It's just solid, no-fuss cooking.

The view of the golf course is lovely, really nice for a quiet lunch. The food was decent, though the service was a little slow. A pretty good spot overall.

Chips were fresh and tasty. Got my order in under 5 minutes, perfect for a quick bite.

Parking's a bit of a pain on George Street, but we grabbed a table and the bread was so fresh and warm. Perfect for a quick catch-up with a friend over a coffee. ☕️

Been coming here for lunch for months. Food's always solid, the team's quick and friendly. Never had a bad meal. Good spot for a reliable bite.

That ribeye was something else, honestly. Perfectly cooked, just melted. Didn't expect that level in a little countryside spot. The rest was nice, but that steak is the reason I'm telling people about it.

The curry sauce with the fish and chips is the star here. It's got a proper depth of flavour, not just a thin gravy. The fish itself was fine, but that sauce is what I'll remember. The smoked sausage was decent, a reliable option.

The lime and coconut cake was fantastic, really fresh and moist. Coffee was good too. But for the portion size, I felt the price was a bit steep. Still, a nice treat.

The fish and chips on Friday was really fresh. The batter was light and the chips were proper hand-cut, which I appreciate. A nice, simple meal.

The server knew all the local beers and gave a great suggestion. Very helpful but not intrusive at all.

The Scotch Lamb was cooked just right, and the meat itself tasted so fresh. Really appreciated the quality of the ingredients here. The Sticky Toffee Soufflé was a lovely finish, not overly sweet.

I pick up their part-baked pizzas to finish at home. The dough has a nice chew, and the tomato sauce is bright and tangy. It's a solid base for adding your own toppings.

A bit of a drive from Kenmore, but the fish and chips are made to order. The batter is just right—crispy outside and soft inside.

This place was absolutely buzzing, but the staff never missed a beat. Really friendly and on top of things. Had the coronation chicken sandwich – spot on. 👍

Late lunch on the patio with our dog. Portions were generous, ingredients tasted fresh. Prices are fair for this part of town. A solid spot for a casual meal.

The roast beef was lovely. But the real treat was the garden, with those fishing ponds just there.

Been coming here for years, and the vibe's always spot on. It's just a really nice place to sit with a coffee and read the paper. Staff remember my usual, which is a nice touch.
