Been here twice. Seasonal menu is decent and prices feel fair for what you get. Staff were friendly enough. Just wish they had something to keep the kids busy.

Stopped by for lunch, place is small but warm inside. Had the beef goulash—pretty solid, meat was tender and the sauce had good depth. Bread on the side soaked it up nicely. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. Maybe a bit slow getting the bill, but I wasn't in a hurry.

Been coming here for years, the Švejk vibe is always spot on. Cozy spot to warm up after wandering the old town, never disappoints.

Went with a few friends on a random weeknight and honestly the steak was so good for what we paid. We got the ribeye and it was properly juicy, not overcooked. Service was chill too, they checked on us but didn’t hover. Only thing is the place got a bit loud later, but whatever. Solid spot for a casual catch-up 😊

The gluten-free options are marked, which I appreciated. But they cook everything on the same grill, so cross-contamination is a real concern. Staff seemed to know about it, though. I wouldn't go here if you're strictly celiac. Fine for a casual meal if you're not too sensitive.

The onion bhajis were really good. Crispy outside, soft inside, and not greasy at all. I liked that they didn't skimp on the spices. Staff spoke English well, which helped since my Czech is still shaky. Traditional music in the background was a nice touch. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

Dropped in for a proper Italian meal and wasn't disappointed. The wine list had a decent Barolo that paired nicely with the pasta. Service was attentive without hovering. Place was busy but we never felt rushed. Just wish they'd dim the lights a bit, felt a little bright for a Friday evening. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Salmon was solid, came out fast. Sat in the garden and it got a bit chilly, but the waitress brought blankets without us asking. That was a nice touch. Prices fair, decent beer list too. Nothing fancy, but I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

Food was decent, pasta done right. Place is clean, staff friendly enough. Meat though... for what they charge, kinda expected more. Not bad, just not sure I'd order it again. Solid spot if you stick to the simpler stuff.

The udon here are the real deal. Thick, chewy, proper bite to them. I only cared about the noodles and they didn't disappoint. Broth had good depth too. Rest of the meal was fine, nothing wrong with it. Service was polite but I wasn't really paying attention to that. Just here for the udon.

Been coming here for a while now, and the food stays consistent. Ali remembered our order from last time, which honestly made my evening. Place gets busy, but the staff still manages to keep things smooth. Just wish they had a bit more room between tables, but that's a minor thing. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The goulash soup was incredible, honestly one of the best I've had. Svíčková was decent but the meat could've been softer. Super central spot too.

Nice little brewery tucked away from the main street. Veggie options were decent. Clean spot, nothing fancy. 🍺

The trout with butter and potatoes was really good. Nice to see gluten-free options on the menu, that helped. The view from the restroom was a bit odd but kind of charming, looking out at the castle. Service was friendly enough, though we did wait a little for the bill. Comfortable spot overall, I'd sit by the window again.

Simple tasty food and the bill didn’t hurt at all. Good spot if you wanna grab a quick bite with friends without overthinking it. 😄

Solid lunch spot, the daily menu had a few meat and veggie options. Mixed chapati with rice and it worked fine. Cafeteria-style but food was decent for a quick weekday bite.

The pork knuckle is still as massive as ever — definitely for two if you're hungry. Pilsner on tap was ice cold, goulash did the job too. Service kept up even when it got busy.

The sirloin steak was spot on, cooked exactly how I asked. Schnitzel was decent too. Main course took a while to come out, but the food itself made up for it.

Decent traditional Czech food, nothing fancy. Cozy old-school place, service was friendly. Pretty good for a casual dinner.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the daily special. Pork knee was decent, beer came out properly tapped. Place was packed with locals, which says something. Prices fair for being right in the center. Only thing, service was a bit rushed since they were busy. Would sit outside next time, looked nicer.

Been coming here for years. The svíčková is still solid, sauce rich, dumplings fluffy. Portion's big enough to skip the starter. Price is fair for what you get. Not the fanciest spot, but the food does the talking.

The beef with bread dumplings was the real deal. That sauce, so velvety, I kept dipping the bread in it until nothing was left. Cozy room too, not too loud. Service was friendly, though they took a bit to come back with the bill. Still, that dish alone made it worth stopping by.

The owner was super friendly when we walked in, made us feel right at home. Got the beef and cheese pie and honestly it hit the spot. Prices are decent too, not crazy expensive like some places around here. Good spot if you're hanging out with friends and want something quick and tasty.

Came here for a quick lunch with a friend and honestly it was such a chill spot. We grabbed a table by the window, food came out pretty fast. I had the pasta and it was solid, nothing crazy but tasty. Place wasn't packed either, so we could actually talk without shouting. Would come back if I'm in the area again 🙂

Sitting right by the conveyor belt makes it easy to grab plates as they come by. The salmon nigiri was fresh, melt-in-your-mouth good. Tried the fried squid too, decent crunch. You gotta be quick though, popular stuff disappears fast. Left full without spending a fortune.

The pho broth is solid, really deep flavor. Portion was big for what I paid. Nothing fancy but it does the job after a long day.

The iced latte with ice cream on top was a nice surprise. Cozy spot, decent prices. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, my back started hurting after a while.
