The dessert was genuinely impressive, like something you'd get at a fancier place. My partner's vegan dish surprised me too, she actually loved it. Staff seemed genuinely into what they were serving, which was nice. Not the cheapest spot but I left feeling good about it.

The bread basket was the best part - fresh rye bread that wasn't dry at all. Nice that it came with the meal.

Been here a few times now, and the reindeer pizza keeps me coming back. Toppings are solid, though the base could use a bit more time in the oven. Interior's nice and the staff are laid-back. Good spot for a casual lunch when you're wandering around the old town.

The jackfruit sandwich was really good, and I liked that there were plenty of veggie options. Prices felt fair for the portion. Sitting inside was comfortable, though it did get a bit warm.

Food's tasty and they handle dairy-free orders well. Got a bit slow when it got busy, but that's fine. Wish they had tofu on the menu though.

The seitan kebab was huge and the chili mayo really hit the spot 😋 Salad bar and coffee made it a solid lunch, though a bit pricey.

Tried the halloumi hot dog by the river. Fries were solid, service quick. Gets crowded on summer nights, so be ready to wait a bit.

The house ravioli alone is worth the trip out of the center. Honestly one of the better pasta dishes I've had lately. Cozy little spot.

The crust on that Neapolitan pizza was spot on—soft, airy, with just the right char. Easily one of the better ones I've had in Finland.

Decent lunch spot. Got the salmon and it was cooked right, service was fast too. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable though, wouldn't mind sitting longer otherwise.

Best pizza I've had around here, hands down. Crust was properly charred, toppings fresh. Staff didn't hover but checked in at the right moments. Been back three times already.

The restaurant's decor is charmingly nostalgic, reminiscent of a Finnish home, which adds to the overall dining experience. The Supreme Savotta sampler is a must-try for anyone wanting to explore a variety of traditional Finnish dishes.

No. 2 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Helsinki

The service here is top-notch, even during busy times. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, making sure that every guest feels well taken care of.

I had a wonderful experience at this Finnish restaurant! The salmon soup was delicious, and the unique decor added to the charm of the place.

A charming and cozy atmosphere with excellent food, particularly the salmon. A lovely spot for a peaceful and refined dining experience.

Came here for a birthday dinner and the staff handled the cake and candles without us even asking. That kind of service keeps me coming back.

The vegan tasting menu was a real treat. Each course had a thoughtful touch, like the texture in the roasted carrot dish. The service team was attentive without hovering. A bit of a wait between the third and fourth courses, but nothing major. Really enjoyed the evening.

While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and the exceptional service make it worth every euro.

Came here before a gig at Tavastia. The elk burger was really good, and the place had a nice casual buzz. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Happy hour beer deal is solid, and the vibe is cozy. Food's fine, though the interior feels a bit tired.

The porcini risotto really stood out. Rich and earthy, cooked the way it should be. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciated. Place wasn't too loud either, easy to actually talk. Would come back just for that dish again.
