Although the food is simple, the location in the Upper Barrakka Gardens provides fantastic views that enhance the experience.

No. 7 of Restaurants for Views & Experiences in Valletta

Stopped here for lunch after walking around the harbor. The octopus was the standout—grilled just right, tender, not rubbery at all. View of the water from the table was a nice bonus. Service was friendly, nothing over the top. Prices felt fair for what you get. Wouldn't mind coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Stumbled onto this place down a side street. Got the steak and honestly it was the best I've had in Malta so far. Price was fair too, not one of those tourist trap spots. Just wish I'd found it earlier in my trip.

Lovely little spot by Spinola Bay. The açai bowl was fresh and the matcha latte with coconut milk hit the spot. Prices fair too. Would sit outside again for the view.

Decent spot for a quick coffee. View is nice, that's mainly why I stopped. Coffee itself was fine, nothing special but did the job. Tables were a bit sticky though, could use a wipe down. Still, okay for a short break if you're in the area.

The pork chops were really good and the portions are solid for what you pay. Just a heads up — they weren’t open right at 6 pm, so maybe call ahead before going.

Strawberry smoothie was spot on, really refreshing after a swim. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy. Been coming here for a while, still does the job.

Been coming here for a while now, and it's still my go-to when I want a drink outside. The staff remembered me and grabbed a sunny table without me even asking. Food's decent, drinks are cold. Gets packed on weekends so you might wait a bit, but that's fine by me.

Solid spot right by the bus station. Portions are generous and prices fair. Staff sorted out a small mix-up without any fuss.

Stopped by for a quick drink and honestly ended up staying way longer than planned 😅 That pistachio latte was so good. Place is tiny but the quiet street location makes it feel like a little escape from the chaos. Great spot if you're catching up with a friend and don't want to be rushed out.

The full English breakfast really hit the spot, and my cappuccino had that perfect froth on top. Service was quick too, which made it easy to just sit back and chat with my friends.

Solid ftira right by the Mdina gate. Fresh and filling. Cakes looked good too. Nice spot to just sit with a coffee.

The chicken caesar wrap was solid—fresh and filling. Outdoor tables right by the mall are handy if you want a quick bite. Prices fair for the area.

Been coming here for a while now, and honestly it's the almond and peach pie that keeps me walking back. Had the chicken, parma and mozzarella baguette this time too, still good. Place is small, near Floriana square, easy to miss. Service is quick enough. Just wish they had more seating, but that's it.

Been coming here for a while now, and the garden seating is what keeps me coming back. It's just so quiet and green, even when the place is busy. Food's decent, but yeah, you might wait a bit longer than you'd like. Still, I don't mind it for a relaxed evening.

Big portions and the staff sent us over a round of drinks after we finished. Honestly such a solid pick for a casual catch-up with friends 🍸

Self-service place with a big spread. Good if you're with a group. Gets proper busy after 2pm though, hard to find a seat. Food was decent, nothing fancy but plenty of choice. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Cafe Jubilee is a wonderful place to stop when exploring Victoria, Gozo. Located in the heart of Independence Square, it has a charming atmosphere that blends traditional Maltese character with a cosy European café feel. The interior is full of character, with vintage touches, warm lighting and a relaxed ambience that makes it a great spot for coffee, lunch or an evening drink. The location is perfect after visiting the Citadel, allowing you to sit back and take in the atmosphere of old Gozo. The service was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel authentic rather than just a tourist stop.A lovely place to experience the slower pace and charm of Gozo. Highly recommended if you are visiting Victoria.

Sterre, Zoe and Augustin were really friendly, made us feel looked after. Food was decent but honestly the service is the main reason I'd go back.

The beef wrap was 8 euros. Tasted good, meat was tender, sauce had a bit of kick. Pricey for what it is though, could get a bigger one elsewhere for less. Fine if you're hungry and don't mind paying a bit extra.

Stopped in for a glass of wine and ended up staying longer than planned. The platter was well put together, and the staff actually knew how to pair things properly. Quiet little street, so no noise from traffic. Cozy inside. Only thing is the pours are a bit small for the price, but the selection makes up for it.

Food was solid, but service really depends on the day. First time our waiter was super attentive, second time we could barely flag him down for the bill. Still, the food made it worth it.

We had an excellent dinner experience at Grain Street, where the chocolate mille-feuille was a standout dessert that you shouldn't miss!

Tucked off the main road, so easy to miss. Went for the rabbit pasta—sauce was rich, meat fell apart, and the portion honestly could've fed two. Waitress knew the specials inside out, helped me pick something I wouldn't have tried otherwise. Food took a while to come out, but it wasn't a rushed kind of place, so I didn't mind.

Had the poached eggs with rucola for breakfast — honestly one of the better ones I've had in a while. Portion was decent for the price, which surprised me. Sat outside and watched people walk by, no rush at all. Just wish the coffee came out hotter, but not a dealbreaker.

Still the best kebab on the island after all these years. Quick service, same great taste every time. Grabbed one on my lunch break and was in and out in ten minutes.

Stopped by around 11pm and they were still serving — that alone saved us. The crepes were properly good, light and buttery. Pizza was just alright, but honestly, stick to the crepes. Staff were friendly too.

Nice spot right on the bay. Staff were friendly and the burger was solid—huge portion though, couldn't finish mine. The chili on the side was a nice touch. 🌊🍔
