A classic old pub with a lot of local history. The front bar is cosy for a quiet pint, but I much preferred the back area. The seating there is so comfortable, you can really settle in and relax. It makes for a very pleasant, easy-going visit.

Stopped by on a drive. The salmon was really juicy, with a nice sear. The mango avocado salsa was a nice touch. Service was a bit slow, but the food was good.
