Great spot by TEC for a cheap beer. Tried their homemade brew and honestly it hit the spot. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The tampique&ntilde;a was spot on&mdash;tender, juicy, seasoned just right. Pollo La Reyna came out moist too, no complaints there. Enchiladas were a little dry, but honestly that&rsquo;s how they do it in Queretaro. Didn&rsquo;t care much about the place itself, but the food did the talking. Fair price for what you get.

The pastries are the star&mdash;fresh and sweet, perfect with their strong coffee. Place gets packed and service slows down, but that&rsquo;s how you know it&rsquo;s good. 😅

The terrace view of the square is really nice. We had the nopales and gusanos de maguey, both tasty. Cheese fondue came out cold though, and the wine was just okay.

The brick-and-rock walls with those skylights really stood out to me. Felt warm and open at the same time. Had the trio of sopes and the Oaxacan mole, both were solid. Price was fair for the quality. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, those wooden chairs got to me after a while.
