A decent pub with pretty good food and a nice atmosphere. The outdoor seating has lovely views, though it can get a bit crowded. Had a pleasant evening there.

Spontaneous stop while passing through. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Sat by the fireplace, which was a nice touch on a cold day. Portions were generous for under £10 a meal. Good, straightforward pub food.

Nice spot after a walk. The view from Cleeve Hill is the main event. Had a coffee and just sat there for a bit. Parking was easy, which helps. Solid place to pause.

A decent spot for a family meal, nice and cozy. The Sunday roast was pretty good, though the roast potatoes were a touch soft for my liking. Handy location right off the M5.

The food here is so pretty and creative, not your usual pub grub. Perfect for catching up with friends over something a bit special.

Jordan and Dan were on it. Explained the allergy stuff clearly, double-checked everything. Felt looked after.

The restaurant has a fantastic location right on the water, making it a perfect spot for a city tour break. Highly recommended!

Another good experience at Toby. It is nice to have a waitress who remembers your preferred drink and offers it as soon as you are seated. A good variety of vegetables including leek crumble which I had not seen before and was very tasty. Cheap and cheerful but none the worse for that.

The cold pint was spot on. Crisp, refreshing, exactly what you want. The temperature was perfect, not too icy. Just a really good, straightforward beer. That's the main thing for me.

Been coming here for years. It’s my go-to for a quiet pint away from the main strip. The regular crowd is always friendly, and they keep the pool table in good shape. Just a solid, reliable local.

Nice little spot right by the airport. The hot food was a relief after a long flight, even with a small mix-up at the counter.

Stopped in before an early flight. The ingredients in our meal were noticeably fresh, which I really appreciate.

Breakfast was a real treat! The food was spot on, and Helen on staff was so lovely and welcoming. It's the kind of place that just feels right for a relaxed catch-up with friends. A nice local vibe too.

We booked a table to celebrate my grandson’s first Easter. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely display for Easter with balloons etc. This provided a lovely photo opportunity for visiting families. My online request for seating was noted and we were sat in the perfect position, however all seating is well spaced at the Barnt Green Inn. We had the most wonderful server, Agne, who my 9 month old grandson promptly fell in love with. The visiting Easter Bunny was a wonderful touch. Our three course meal was delicious from start to finish. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Barnt Green Inn for a very happy and memorable day.

Quick breakfast spot. Asked for no beans on the full English, no problem at all. Got my plate in under 10 minutes. Staff were polite. Exactly what I needed for a fast bite.

Loved the festive menu! The roast turkey was so juicy and the gravy was spot on. Service was quick and friendly, even on a busy night.

The service at this restaurant is exceptional! Michelle and the team create a welcoming environment that makes you feel right at home. The food is consistently good, and the staff's friendliness adds to the overall experience.

Nice old pub, lots of character. Came for a quiet pint after work, atmosphere was relaxed. Good for a catch-up. The ale was well-kept, just what I needed. Prices are fair for the area.

Lovely, clean pub. The staff were so friendly! I tried the home-cooked beef pie and it was just right - proper flaky pastry and a really rich filling. Came out quickly too.

Great spot for our yearly Christmas get-together with the girls! The staff were so nice and made it really easy to relax.

I am local and have always loved this place. I’m afraid we locals still refer to it as "The Foaming Jug". There is a lovely "olde worlde’ ambience about the place and the staff always so friendly and "nice". Needless to say the food is excellent.

Decent selection of local ales and ciders. Got a flight to try a few, which was a good call. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Popped in for their bottomless brunch. The cocktails were spot on, really enjoyed the espresso martini. Got a bit busy so the drinks took a while to come out, but the vibe was nice.

This restaurant is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a meal, with a welcoming atmosphere and dependable service.

Booked for Sunday lunch, place was packed. Service got a bit slow when they were full, but expected that. Food came out fine in the end.

The plaice was perfectly cooked, swimming in butter. The hazelnut parfait was lovely too. What really stood out was the service – friendly and relaxed, they never rushed us out even at the end of the night.

The food for our large group all came out together and was still hot, which was impressive. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.

Nice historic pub with a cozy feel. The fish and chips were a bit pricey for the portion size though.

My wife and I went for dinner on a Monday night. The pub wasn't too busy which was lovely. We were quickly seated and attended to. Drinks were ok but the startes and sharing plates were great! Well seasoned and presented. Highly recommend the chicken karaage. Our mains were generously sized but a bit lacking in flavour. We had pork belly (saved by the tasty sauce) and sea bass (needed salt). All in all a lovely meal and we would visit again if in the area.

A proper local pub, and they're very welcoming to dogs - even had treats for our spaniel. Nice to see. The pale ale on tap was a solid choice, went well with the simple ploughman's lunch. Could do with a few more craft options on the menu though.
