The borscht with smoked beets was a real standout. Huge portion, deeply savory. My glass of Cabernet Franc was a perfect match for its earthy notes. The Portobello Cobb salad was solid, but that soup stole the show.

Been coming here for years. Staff always remembers my name, asks about the family. Makes a quick lunch feel like a visit with friends. That kind of personal touch is hard to find.

Decided to stop by for a quick bite. The portions are huge, honestly couldn't finish my plate. Food was solid and tasty, just what I needed. A straightforward spot that gets the basics right.

Service is so thoughtful here. They checked in about spice levels without me even asking, and my water glass was never empty. It's a small thing, but it makes the meal feel effortless.

Cozy spot with a great downtown view. The vibe is relaxed, good for a casual date. Had the burger and fries, solid. The wine list is decent, found a nice Pinot Noir that went well with the food. Service was a bit slow, but no big deal.

The poutine here is massive, easily enough for two. Fries stayed crispy under all that gravy and cheese curds. My burger was solid, really filling. Good spot if you're hungry.

Been here a few times for business lunches. The food is reliably good, some of the best in the city. The wait for dishes can be a bit long, but it's not a dealbreaker.

Cathedral area spot, grabbed takeout for lunch. The chicken sandwich was solid, fresh bun and the fries were hot. A bit pricey for what it is, but convenient when you're out and about.

Had to order the Peking duck two days ahead. The skin was perfectly crispy, served with thin pancakes. Second course was minced duck in lettuce wraps. The wait was justified.

The large shawarma is huge. Tasted way better than the other spots I've been to in town. Just walked in hungry and left happy.

The grilled lemongrass chicken soup was really nice, the chicken was so tender. The rice came with a different soup too. I appreciated that the booth seating was comfortable and spacious, made the whole meal feel relaxed.

The steak sandwich was a nice surprise. The steak itself was cooked just right, but what I really appreciated was the generous portion of fresh mushrooms. The fries were hot and crispy. A solid choice for a casual lunch.

Celebrated a birthday here last night. The prime rib with horseradish was exactly what I wanted. The lighting was just right, not too bright. Felt cozy and relaxed. A bit pricey for a regular visit, but it fits the occasion.

The fried rice portion was huge, easily enough for two. For the price, it's a steal. Service was quick, got my order in under 5 minutes. Will be my go-to for a cheap, filling lunch from now on.

The agedashi tofu and veggie yakisoba were both really nice vegetarian choices. I had them with a pot of green tea, which was a very comfortable and complete meal. The booth seating was particularly cozy.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always on point. Our server tonight remembered my usual order, asked how the new dish was, and just made the whole thing feel easy. That kind of attention is why I keep coming back.

The server was really sweet and gave me a great tip on the menu. She suggested the truffle pasta and it was spot on. Just the right amount of help without hovering.

The cocktails are the star here. Bartenders are creative, their recommendations were spot on. Tried a few, all were well-crafted and tasty.

The patio is such a vibe on a sunny day! Grabbed the truffle pasta with my friends and it was so good. A bit pricey, but the spot is perfect for catching up. We stayed for hours just chatting.

The price point is a bit high, but I tried the wagyu beef for the first time here. It was so tender and flavorful, definitely a treat for a special occasion.

I had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary at Mr. Mike's. The food was delicious, and the waitress provided great service, making our special day even better.

Came for breakfast and got the Greek skillet. It's a huge portion, easily enough for two. I ended up taking half home. For the price, you're definitely getting your money's worth. The menu is big, but I'll probably just get this again.

Been coming here for years, and Silvia always makes you feel right at home. She takes the time to walk you through the menu, every single time. That personal touch keeps me coming back.

We had a lovely, relaxed dinner here. The booths are so comfortable, you can really settle in. The staff was friendly and checked in just the right amount, which made the whole evening feel easy and pleasant.
