Came by on a packed Sunday. The staff were so lovely despite the rush. I found a quiet corner by the window, just watching the light filter through the plants. It felt like a little escape in the middle of all the bustle.

Nice old-school pub in the centre. The rugby and brewery bits on the walls give it a real feel. Had a decent pint of local ale with the steak pie &ndash; the beer cut through the gravy nicely. A bit pricey for what it is, but a solid spot for a quiet pint.
