The best that France has to offer. A small gem of a restaurant in a small gem of a city. The food is inventive without being over-complicated, the welcome is warm and the service impeccable, by this classic husband and wife team (he does the cooking, she runs the front of house. Go and enjoy!

Ludivine made our daughter&#39;s birthday cake. It was beautiful and tasted good, but the price was a bit high for the size.

Stumbled upon this place last week. The pasta was delicious and quite original, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, a solid meal.

Very reasonably priced. Cheaper and far better quality than the standard tourist spots. Good choices and well balanced. Healthy. Tasty. Well presented. The set menu is very good value for three courses. We were very pleased with our choices of food and restaurant. It was well worth checking this site. It paid off.

A privilege to dine here. This was our fourth visit though living only 10 km away it&#39;s hard to say why we haven&#39;t been more often. A location for a special dining experience that&#39;s appropriately priced but the quality matches the cost. The three course menu actually comprised six dishes with stylish amuse bouche and petit fours. Every dish was superb! Even the bread was spectacular. Luckily the dishes are detailed with the source of their ingredients - almost all local. We will certainly visit their local Boulangerie ! Not only the exquisite food but the charming service and impressive exterior views (white swans on a lighted lake.... and daffodils in bloom in January!) increased the pleasure!  Highly recommended for a special occasion..

Stopped in with the family. The pasta tasted like my nonna used to make, simple and fresh. The place was packed but the staff was really patient with the kids. A good, honest meal.

The terrace is a nice spot. Had the vegetarian pasta, it was pretty good. Simple menu, which I appreciated. Staff were friendly. A solid choice for a low-key dinner.

Service was excellent but the food was not as fresh as it should have been.  There was a lot of choice on the menu but very diverse choices.  Maybe trying to cater for everyone but didn&rsquo;t work for us.  A nice location.

The buffet formula creates more traffic than usual but it didn&rsquo;t matter and added to the novelty. The quality of dishes was very good and service could not be faulted. First visit for us but not last.

The waitress was so attentive, she remembered my water preference without asking. Food came out quickly but still felt relaxed. That kind of service is hard to find.

Lunch on the terrace overlooking the Gironde. That view. Just a really nice, relaxed vibe. Perfect for a long, slow meal.

Friendly staff, really efficient. They were patient with my broken French too. Just makes the whole meal feel relaxed.

Pleasant  lunch in what must have been a leading city centre hotel. Service was excellent in a rear garden with attractive wisteria canopy. Food choice maybe rather simple and limited for lunch but okay on a sunny day. Hopefully a more sophisticated menu for evening meals.  We have often stopped here for s coffee whilst visiting and it&#39;s a lovely decor to appreciate.

The cognac list is seriously impressive, with some world-famous labels. Food was tender and tasty too.
