A welcome stop after cycling. The beer garden was lovely for a pint in the sun. Staff were friendly, and it seems a good place to catch a match.

I haven&#39;t been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time.  The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn&#39;t going to be the same but I wasn&#39;t disappointed,  the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had.  As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Absolutely excellent roast dinner, we will definitely be back again soon! Everything was brilliant. The lovely new landlady, Rebecca, came around personally to introduce herself and check how our meal was, really nice touch!

Lovely pub, stayed overnight. The breakfast was huge - full English with all the trimmings. Honestly, the portion was so generous I couldn&#39;t finish it. Great for the price paid for the room.

The lamb shank was the star. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just fell off the bone. The red wine sauce was rich and deep, with a hint of rosemary. It&#39;s a generous portion, too. Honestly, I&#39;d come back just for that dish.
