Been coming here for years, the chicken pie is still the best in the area. Flaky crust, good filling. Beef pie is decent too. Prices are fair for what you get.

Ordering with the QR code took me a minute to figure out. A staff member noticed and came right over to help me through it. Very kind of them. The whole thing was sorted quickly, so I could just relax and enjoy my meal.

The restrooms were spotless, which is always a nice touch. The whole place just felt so warm and inviting, you know? Perfect spot to just chill with your crew.

Always busy, but the staff are still so friendly. Food arrives fresh and hot. Their wine list is surprisingly good for a place this casual. Had a nice Pinot Noir with the grilled fish. Book ahead.

Cozy spot by the river. The grilled fish was simple and fresh, and they had a decent local white wine that paired nicely.

The climb up the stairs is a bit of a trek, but you're rewarded with this secluded, almost forest-like feel up here. It's a nice escape from the street below.

The food was really good! We had the laksa and the satay, both were tasty. Service was quick too, our food came out fast. It was nice for a casual catch-up with friends. A bit on the pricier side, but okay for the area.

The crispy pata is huge and perfectly crispy. I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients tasted.

The mushroom roll was the highlight for me. Packed with umami, the filling was really well-seasoned. Even as a meat-eater, I'd order it again.

Parking gets tight later on, so we came a bit early. Made it easy to just relax and catch up with friends.

Lovely evening breeze in the outdoor area. Staff was welcoming. The house red was a pleasant surprise, actually paired well with my grilled lamb. A bit on the pricier side for the pour, but it worked.

Their white pepper pork soup is my go-to for a quick lunch. Broth is rich, simmered for hours. Warms you right up. Gets me through the afternoon.

The prawns Mornay were the star for me. Plump prawns, creamy sauce, not too heavy. The seafood quality is solid here. Portion was a touch small for the price, but the dish itself was done well.

The wonton soup was a nice surprise. Thin, delicate wrappers, and the broth had good flavour. A bit on the salty side for me though.

The private room was huge, could easily fit our group of 30. Felt a bit empty at first, but that just meant we had space to breathe and mingle. Perfect for what we needed.

Spacious round dining hall. Traditional decor. Good for big family dinners. Private rooms available.

A nice quiet spot for a long chat. I really liked their seafood platter, the fish was so fresh and the prawns were firm. Not a huge fan of steak but my friend enjoyed hers. No alcohol here, which I appreciate for a calm evening.

Been coming here for years. Even when it's packed, the wait for a table and then for your food never feels too long. That's what keeps me coming back. The free green tea is a nice bonus while you wait.

Love the variety here, can always find something to eat. The seats are comfortable and the staff are friendly, makes for a relaxed meal.

Great spot for a casual hangout with friends! The vibe is super chill, perfect for long chats over drinks. We tried the truffle fries and they were delicious, kept us snacking for hours. The seating is comfy, not too crowded even on a Friday night. A bit pricey on the cocktails though.

Classic Kuching kopitiam. Got my kolo mee and teh tarik in under 5 minutes. Perfect for a quick bite. The vibe is authentic and cozy, just what you need for a fast breakfast. No fuss.

Nice seafood spot. The Nyonya steam fish was good. Service was friendly and not rushed, which made it a comfortable meal.

Sarawak Laksa is my go-to here. The broth is rich and comforting, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. The portion is decent too.

The staff was so sweet! Noticed we were trying to take a picture in the low light and offered to help. They were really attentive without being overbearing. Made the evening feel relaxed.

The Sarawak Laksa here is legit! The broth is so thick and flavourful, and the noodles are handmade. It comes with chicken, egg, and tofu - perfect portion for a catch-up lunch with friends. We were chatting so much we almost forgot to eat! 😄

Loved the vibe here. The wooden interior with all the traditional decor and music playing in the background really sets it apart. Felt like a proper, authentic spot.

Tried the mee mamak for the first time here. The portion is huge for the price! Simple spot, but the food hit the spot. Would come back just for that.

Staff was really on the ball, asked about allergies right away. They had a few solid vegan choices, which was nice. My curry was good, no egg or dairy. Makes it easy when you don't have to explain everything.
