A lovely spot for tea or coffee. The pastries are delightful, though the water glasses and plates could use a refresh.

Good mix of Italian and Ligurian dishes with high quality and nice selection of wine. Price was reasonable and restaurant personnel attentive.

I had an amazing experience with the pasta and service here. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delightful meal!

Just popped in for a quick lunch. The €10 set was a nice surprise – a proper, fresh plate, not the usual sad cafeteria stuff. Exactly what I needed.

Great tap list with German, Belgian, and American brews. The bartender really knew his stuff—asked what I usually like and suggested a Belgian ale that paired perfectly with my burger. Spot on.

The staff really knew their stuff. Made our anniversary feel extra special without being over the top.

Coffee and a croissant are a steal here. The cappuccino was smooth, not bitter. The croissant was flaky and buttery. It was packed when I went, but the staff kept things moving. A solid spot for a quick bite.

The pizzas are huge and loaded with toppings! Came with a group of friends and we could barely finish one each. Great for sharing if you're not too hungry. Price is totally fair for what you get.

The outdoor space is lovely, and the cocktails are top-notch. It's a great place to relax with friends, and the friendly staff adds to the overall positive experience.

The steak was exactly as I asked for. But the real star was the charcuterie board - those cured meats and cheeses were something else. Ate it all slowly, just enjoying the moment.

The fried calamari and shrimp were so fresh. The batter was light and crispy, not heavy or oily at all. You could really taste the seafood itself. Just a shame the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The wine list is seriously impressive. So many local options. I love that you can get some of the nicer bottles by the glass. Makes it feel a bit more special.

Been coming here for years, and the seafood never disappoints. It's that consistent freshness that keeps me coming back. The grilled octopus last night was spot on, just like always.

Our pup gets so excited when we pull up here! They always have a water bowl ready for him, and the staff is so sweet. We shared the truffle fries and a burger — perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. A bit noisy inside, but we love the patio.

Great spot for a quick bite after visiting the cathedral. Fast service, even when busy.

The burger was solid, fresh veggies made it. Those thick-cut chips were a winner, crispy outside, fluffy inside. Good spot for a quick bite.

We really enjoyed the beautiful ambiance, friendly and attentive staff and excellent meal on Christmas Day. It was a leisurely day and meal! The food quality was excellent and the portions, generous. Many courses…we enjoyed every dish and will return!

Very nice restaurant, food was amazing with great presentation and revisiting the traditional Liguria’s dish with an innovative eye. Only drawback, the terrace is beautiful and overlooking the sea but not on the sea, the main road is just below…. And the house wine was not at level with the food but wine cart was great

The dining experience at Esoticum was exquisite - the was extraordinary, unique and very tasty. The service and atmosphere very pleasant and friendly. Undoubtedly an experience to repeat and I can strongly recommend it to everyone.

This place is a hidden gem with Mediterranean flavors in a rustic setting. The wine selection is impressive, and the food is expertly prepared, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy quality cuisine.

It definitely should be 5/5 stars without no doubt! Highly recommend! We will come back again! The service was so great, they even came out of the restaurant to help us to find a parking spot! The foods were excellent with such affordable price! The taste, the quantity and the quality are all super! They also serve the kid menu with 3 courses in 15 euros. Our kid really enjoy it!I don’t understand why the reviews ion Google is so low, yet due to our experiences, we think the reviews like 1/5 or 2/5 were not true anymore.Ppl should cone and try by themselves! You won’t be disappointed!

Busy spot, definitely book ahead. Got the classic Genoese pasta, came out quick and hit the spot. Solid food, clean place. Perfect for a quick lunch.

The restaurant is a gem! Fast and friendly service and a very cozy atmosphere. The food is AMAZING! We ordered trofie al pesto, steak, and octopus, and they have an excellent wine list! The owner, Valerio, was very friendly and welcoming! The restaurant is a must in Genoa! Absolutely, we'll go again.

Grilled sea bream was spot on. The seafood platter too – everything tasted just-caught fresh. Found a crisp white wine that really let the flavors shine. A bit pricey, but you're paying for that quality.

Quick bite during lunch break. Staff was friendly and helpful, got my order fast. Food was decent for the price.

Excellent food, plus traditional with a creative touch: starter, main, and dessert alike. Most gracious service. Waiting time a bit excessive though, as lasted more than two hours (plus to get there from downtown you need some 20 minutes). Still, food wise, totally recommendable.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The prosciutto panini was solid, bread crisp and filling generous. Coffee's decent too. Good spot for a reliable bite when you're in the area.

Loved the cozy feel of this family-run spot in the old town alleys. The trofie pasta with pesto was fantastic, but the real star was the atmosphere. It felt just like eating in a nonna's kitchen, so warm and welcoming.
