Dining at the Steaktrain is a treat for steak enthusiasts. The menu offers a great selection of high-quality meats, and the ambiance is both cozy and unique, making it a perfect spot for special occasions.

Been coming here for a while now. The dark bock is still my go-to, and the Schäufele holds up every time. Just wish they’d add a couple more veggie sides.

The chocolate torte was really good, and the lemon mint drink hit the spot. Staff were friendly enough. Nice spot to sit and watch people go by.

Food was solid, staff stayed professional even when it got busy. Place has a nice vibe to it. Make sure you book ahead though, we almost didn't get a table.

The beer selection is top-notch, with a variety of options brewed locally. The pretzels were also a highlight, making it a great spot for a casual meal.

We had a lovely evening with excellent food. The menu primarily features meat dishes, but the staff was very accommodating with special requests. Both the food and service were perfect, and we can't wait to return!

The ambience is great for a relaxing lunch, and the hausgemachte Limonade is a must-try! The portions are generous, making it worth the slightly higher price.

Decent spot on the second floor of the mall. Easy to find, which is nice when you're hungry and don't want to wander around. Had a quick lunch there, food was pretty good for what it is. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. Maybe a bit busy around noon, but that's expected. Fine for a casual stop.

Big menu, lots of veggie options which I liked. Buddha bowl was fresh and pretty filling for the price. Pancakes came fast too. Solid spot for a casual brunch.

Came here for the first time and honestly the food hit the spot. We had the grilled octopus and it was nicely charred, really tender. Prices felt fair for what you get. Only thing—our drinks took forever to come and the bread order got mixed up. Upstairs area looks a bit tired, but I’d still go back for the food.

Been going here for years, and it never disappoints. The schnitzel was crispy, the dumplings soft, and the gravy had that proper homemade taste. Beer list is solid too, mostly Czech and German picks. Bill came to about 25 euros for two mains and drinks, which felt fair for the quality. Place gets busy around 7, so come early if you want a quiet table.

Ordered Taschenburger which is signature dish at restaurant opening time. The waiter said they ran out. How could they run out signature dish at the start of business? Seatings are stair corridors which is strange. Overall, there are much nicer and cheaper restaurants/cafe in Dresden.

Good gluten-free options, that chocolate mousse tart was a winner. Coffee's solid too. Bit of a walk from the center though.

Stopped by after the renovation and the place looks sharp. Same relaxed vibe, staff still friendly. That view over the water never gets old. Definitely coming back for dinner soon.

Decent spot for a relaxed dinner. We had the tapas surprise platter for two with a dry rosé, pretty good overall. Staff knew their stuff and pointed us in the right direction. Just a bit busy when we left, but fine.

Been here a few times now, and the portions are still just as big as the first visit. Honestly, you could split one plate between two people and still walk out full. The homemade tortilla chips with the dips are what keep me coming back though. Place gets busy around dinner, but it's worth it.

The schnitzel was solid, crispy and not greasy. Kaiserschmarrn hit the spot too. Menu has enough options.

Been here twice now. Cupcakes were fresh both times, really good flavor. Not too sweet either, which I liked. Place is small but fine for a quick stop. If you're nearby and want something sweet, it does the job.

We booked the private room for 40 people. Anja and her team handled everything smoothly, no stress at all. Menu planning was easy too. Just a really well-run evening.

Solid spot for a business dinner. Staff was on point, not too fussy. Ambiance felt right — classy but you could still relax. 👍

The quinoa bowl was fresh, really fresh. Lots of greens and avocado, exactly what I needed after a week of heavy food. They have a good number of vegan options too, which is not always easy to find around here. I'd go back just for that.

The spicy pizza was really good, and the mango gelato after it? Perfect way to end the meal. 😊 Service was friendly too. Place has a nice vibe for hanging out with friends, though it got a bit busy later. I’d go back just for that gelato honestly.

The Käsespätzle was honestly too cheesy for me, but the rest was solid. Prices fair, staff friendly. Nothing fancy, just decent.

We had lunch here with the kids — the play area saved us, honestly. They were busy while we actually got to eat in peace. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the portions felt small for what you pay. Fine for a one-off family stop, just don’t expect a bargain.

We grabbed a table with a few friends on a random Tuesday, and honestly, the vibe was perfect for catching up. Food came out quick, and everything we ordered was solid. Staff were friendly without hovering, which I appreciate. Only tiny thing: it got a bit loud later, but we were having too much fun to care. Already planning the next visit 😊

Came here for the first time last week and honestly, the vibe was really nice. We paid around €30 each with drinks, which felt okay for what you get. The waitress was super friendly too. Food was tasty, nothing crazy but solid. Maybe a bit busy in the evening, but I'd go back.
