The lunch special is solid - crispy duck and fresh veggies, plenty of food for the price. Staff were friendly enough, though the place was dead quiet when I went in. One thing that bugged me: they charged for tap water even though we ordered beers too. That felt a bit cheap, honestly.

The upstairs seating looks right out over the Frauenkirche – that alone makes it worth climbing the stairs. Coffee was solid, cake fresh. Staff stayed friendly even when the place got busy. Only thing: tables are a bit close together, so you might end up overhearing your neighbors. Still, a decent spot to sit for a while.

The garlic bread was a solid start, and the portions are generous. Interior felt a bit generic though, could use more Greek charm. Got a bit loud inside, but the food made up for it.

The tatar here is something else—probably the best I’ve had in a long while, and the portion’s so generous I actually struggled to finish it. Paired it with a solid glass of red, which worked nicely. Only small gripe: the staff didn’t check in much, so we couldn’t order more bread when we wanted it.

The nougat and chocolate ice cream were fantastic. Pricey for what you get though, so more of a treat than a regular stop.

Solid place for traditional German food. Had the pork ribs, they were surprisingly decent. Beer was fresh, went down easy. Staff stayed friendly even when it got busy, which I appreciate. Not fancy, but you know what you're getting. Fine for a casual evening out.

The mango curry sauce was really good, definitely tastes house-made. Portions are huge for the price. Staff seemed a bit distant at first but fine once you got their attention. Nothing fancy but it did the job for a casual dinner.

The menu is huge and the veggie options are solid. Owner really knows the food and took time to explain things. Portions were decent for the price.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The seating is really comfortable, soft chairs you don't want to leave. Nice selection of cakes too, though I only tried the cheesecake. Staff were patient with my broken German, which I appreciated. Place has a relaxed vibe, not too loud even when it filled up.

Stumbled on this place by accident and the view alone got me. Staff were nice, food did the job too. Nothing fancy but solid. Wish I could remember the name of the dish I had—it was simple but really fresh. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The wheat beer from their in-house brewery is really good. I had a salad too, ingredients tasted fresh. Service was attentive, even brought an English menu tablet without asking.

The burger and fries were solid, and that sauce they give you is seriously good. Lemonade was a bit much for me though, and watch out for wasps if you sit outside. 😅

The menu is short but everything we ordered was solid. Wine list has some real thought behind it, not the usual boring stuff you get in most places. For the quality, the bill felt fair. Glad we stumbled in here instead of the tourist traps nearby.

Service was attentive, the room felt warm without trying too hard. Food came out solid, nothing overdone. Just a good neighborhood spot.

Food was solid, pretty authentic for Leipzig. The staff were nice, but honestly the vibe inside is what got me. Good lighting, not too loud, seats were actually comfortable. Could've stayed longer after finishing. Just a nice spot to hang out without feeling rushed.

The pizza was properly crispy, not floppy at all. Really well made. I sat near the window and watched people walk by while I ate. Nice spot for a casual dinner. Just wish the service had been a bit quicker, but the food made up for it.

Been coming here for years, the crunchy rolls are still my go-to. Staff actually remembers you, which is rare around here. Place is nothing fancy but it works. Had the usual order yesterday, still solid. Maybe not the cheapest but you pay for the consistency.

Cocktail happy hour from 7-9 is solid. Drinks were good, food looked nice and tasted fine. Mix of local and international stuff. Staff checked in enough. Nothing crazy but decent for the price.

The Bach cake with mocha was solid—hazelnut and coffee cream worked well together. Place was busy, took a while to get the bill though.

Came for a quick breakfast, grabbed the eggs benedict on a baguette and the salmon plate. Solid stuff, no complaints. Upstairs view over the market square is a nice touch. Service was a bit all over the place, but the food landed fast enough. Fine for a stop if you're in a hurry.
