Lovely little tavern right by the castle walls. The Saxon dishes were hearty and tasty. Service felt genuinely warm, like they actually care. Only thing: it got a bit busy later, but that's a good sign, I guess.

Ducked in for a quick lunch. Got the duck, juicy and a solid portion for the price. Place is basic, nothing fancy, but it does the job when you're hungry and in a hurry. Dining area was a bit of a mess though, tables not cleared super fast. Still, food came out quick. Fine for a stop.

Truffle pasta was solid, fillet steak cooked right. Price is a bit steep for a quick lunch, but you get what you pay for. 👍

The goulash had great flavor, but honestly the beef portion felt a bit small for what you pay. The dumpling fries were a nice touch though.

Handled a vegan request without fuss, and the dish was surprisingly good for a traditional place. Service was friendly, no complaints.

Been coming here for years now. The Jägerschnitzel is still solid, that retro GDR vibe hasn't faded one bit. Solyanka's got that proper tangy kick too. Portions are big enough that I usually skip lunch beforehand. Staff remember regulars, which is nice. Place gets busy on weekends, but that's expected.

Stopped by for breakfast, had the croissant and a coffee. Portion was decent, flaky pastry done right. Staff was alright, not overly chatty but fine. Price felt a bit steep for what you get, but that's the neighborhood I guess. Solid enough if you're nearby and want something quick.

The apple pie hot chocolate was so good, and the classic pancake with fruits and fudge hit the spot. Fair portions for the price. Place was packed though, so def book a table before coming 😅

Lunch set is solid for the price—starter, main, dessert. Chicken salad was fresh, beer list had some good local ones. Service was fine, not too pushy.

Pork medallions were solid again, and the waitress knew her beer pairings. Price is a bit high for the area, but I keep coming back for that dish.

The food and drinks were solid, lots of options. Space is beautiful and airy, inside and out. Staff friendly. Just wish the service was a bit quicker.

Gyros with Metaxa sauce was solid, portion generous. Villa setting is nice but decor feels a bit cold. Good spot if you're nearby.

Stopped by for a beer and wings. The wings were properly done, crispy and juicy. Draft list had a few solid options. Nachos though? Kind of disappointing for what they charge. Stick with the wings and you're fine. Place gets a bit loud later in the evening, but that's on me for picking a busy time.

The tandoori dishes were spot on, especially the reshmi kabab. Staff was really sweet with my kid too. Just wish the naan had come out hotter.

Mains around 16€ and the portions were decent for that. Service was quick too. Solid spot if you're not looking to drop a lot.

The free ouzo and salad on arrival was a nice touch. Food was solid, portions big. Gets busy though, book ahead.

Stopped by for a quick lunch near the zoo. Got the pizza, pretty solid crust and decent toppings. Terrace is nice if you can grab a seat. Prices are fair for the area, not crazy expensive. Service was a bit slow but nothing terrible. Would eat here again if I'm in the neighborhood.

The staff actually helped us pick our dishes and the house beer was solid. Portions are huge, we left completely stuffed. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends. 🍻

The sourdough bread here is really solid, and the pastries are decent too. Coffee's smooth, no complaints. It does get pretty busy around lunch, but the staff still managed to stay friendly. Portion sizes are fair for what you pay, which is honestly the main thing I care about. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

The schnitzel was spot on—crispy, well-seasoned, and probably the best I’ve had in months. Staff were friendly, and the price was fair for the portion. Worth a stop if you’re nearby.

Been coming here for years now. The menu still has that huge list of pizzas, around 100 or so. Dough stays thin and crispy every single time, which is why I keep coming back. Toppings could be a bit more generous, but honestly, for a casual dinner spot, it does the job.

The roasted pork knuckle was the only thing that mattered to me. Crispy skin, tender inside, proper mustard on the side. Ate it with my hands, no regrets. Portion was generous for the price. Didnt care about the rest of the place. Just the knuckle. That was enough.

The lunch special is a solid deal—got a veggie curry that was super flavorful. Portion felt a bit small but fine for the price.

We sat outside by the church, which was really nice in the morning. Coffee was excellent. Came back for dinner and had the salmon pasta in rosé sauce—enjoyable, though the sauce could’ve been a bit richer. Service was friendly and didn’t rush us. A comfortable spot to linger if you’re not in a hurry.
