The currywurst itself was decent, but the sauce didn't have much kick. Wednesday special with a drink is a fair deal though.

The terrace view of Albrechtsburg Castle is honestly the reason to come here. Food came out fast too, which surprised me. I had the meat and it was properly juicy, not dry at all. Just a solid, pleasant lunch stop. Maybe not mind-blowing, but I'd sit there again for that view alone.

Sunny courtyard, live music, glass of sparkling wine. Pretty dreamy afternoon. Food's good too, though it's mostly self-service.

Stopped by for a quick glass of wine and stayed way longer than planned. The pour was generous and the staff left me alone until I needed them. Seats near the window are comfy enough to just sit and watch people go by. Solid little spot for a lazy afternoon.

Sushi was fresh, no complaints there. Service kept things moving, plates came out fast. But honestly, the other dishes were swimming in oil a bit too much for my taste. Maybe stick to the sushi if you go. Decent spot overall, just not the place for light eating.

The interior looks really nice and the spot is easy to find. Pasta selection is solid, prices are fair for the portion you get.

Cozy little place with a short menu—everything felt fresh. The one person working was juggling a full room and still managed it well. Food was solid for a casual hangout.

Food came fast on that little rollercoaster – pretty fun. Staff helped us out when we were rushing for the train. Solid stop if you're nearby.

Solid veal schnitzel. Rooftop view of the Elbe was the highlight. Staff helped with the menu in English.

Solid Vietnamese place in the Altstadt. Had the fried rice with roasted pork and the pho with three beefs — both tasty, not oily. Hit the spot on a cold day.

The mango curry chicken was the standout. Rich, creamy, slightly sweet, and the chicken was properly tender. I ordered it with rice and that was it. Didn't really pay attention to anything else around me. The sauce had a nice depth to it, not just one-note sweetness. Portion was decent for the price. I'd come back just for that dish again.

The beer garden itself is cozy enough, but ordering was a bit chaotic. Fine for a casual after-work drink, though I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Walked in without a reservation, hostess still squeezed us in. Got the schnitzel, portion was huge. Sauce was a bit salty but the meat itself was tender. Place was busy but we didn't feel rushed. Fine for a spontaneous dinner.

Been coming here for years now. The beer garden is still my favorite spot, right on the Elbe. Food is what you'd expect, solid Saxon stuff, nothing fancy. Had the pork knuckle last time, crispy skin, good portion. Staff remembers me, which says something. Gets busy on weekends, but that's fine.

Came here for the first time last week and honestly left impressed. The fried potatoes were the highlight for me—crispy on the outside, not oily at all. You can tell they actually take time with them. Owner was super friendly too, made the whole place feel welcoming. Would go back just for that plate.

The pork knuckle was the real deal — crispy skin, tender inside, proper seasoning. Had it with a cold beer and that was it. Portion was generous too. Didn't care much about the view or the vibe, but the food did the talking. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but I'd order the same thing again.

The interior’s done really well, and the staff made me feel welcome right away. I went for the Makloubeh—tasty, no doubt, but I’ll admit I wanted a bit more on the plate for what it costs. A solid spot if you’re in the mood for something hearty. I’d probably pair it with a glass of red next time, honestly.

The schnitzel was solid, crispy, well-seasoned. Portion size decent for the price. Took forever to get the bill though, had to wave someone down. Food's the reason to go, just don't be in a hurry.

The tapas were properly seasoned and looked great on the plate. Sangria with cava hit the spot. Service was friendly enough, no complaints there.

Cute little ice cream place with a cozy upstairs lounge that feels like hanging out in someone's living room. €2.50 a scoop is a bit steep, but the flavors are solid. Good for a chill catch-up with friends. 🍦

We sat outside on the terrace, which was really lovely. The food tasted freshly made, not like it had been sitting around. Our waiter checked on us just the right amount, not too pushy. I appreciated that. Only small thing, we waited a bit for the bill, but no big deal. A pleasant spot for a relaxed meal.

The shawarma was crispy and well-seasoned, sauces on point. Small spot, easy to walk past, but worth grabbing a quick bite here.

Stopped by for coffee and a slice of Eierschecke. The cake was warm and really good. Staff were friendly, no complaints. Place felt a bit cramped though.
