It was the best meal on our vacation and fairly priced. My husband had the catch of the day and I the most fantastic Salad with 8 or 9 types of fish! The wine and beer were great and the gin and tonic uniquely presented in a stem glass.

We just loved the culinary experience at the restaurant. Will definitely go back.

The fried feta with honey was the reason I came here, and it didn’t disappoint. Sticky, salty, all that. Upstairs is more of a sit-down vibe, which I liked. Portion was decent for the price, not huge but fair. I’d go back just for that dish, honestly.

Solid arthouse spot. Went for a late screening, crowd was quiet and respectful. Café upstairs has decent coffee and a few board games if you arrive early. Tickets run a bit higher than the big chains, but the programming is more interesting. Staff at the counter was efficient, no fuss. Fine if you want something different from the usual multiplex.

Nice spot hidden in the church yard. Quiet even though it's central. Sat outside, weather was good, stayed longer than planned. Food was decent, nothing crazy but solid. Service fine, not rushed. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The terrace is decent for a summer drink, and the desserts are the main draw. Staff were friendly enough, and the vibe is cozy when it’s not too busy. We grabbed a table outside and it was fine, though the service slowed down a bit later. Pretty good spot overall, but I wouldn’t call it a must-visit.

The duck breast came out undercooked, which was a letdown. The fries were solid though, and the beer was cold. Service was friendly enough.

Came for a work thing, lunch sandwiches were fresh and the kimchi croquettes stood out. Service kept things moving without a hitch. Solid spot for a group meal.

The pizza was really good—fresh out of the oven and nicely baked. Just a heads up, we waited a while since they seem to focus more on takeaway orders.

The salmon tataki was the dish I kept thinking about after we left. We ordered nine sharing plates for three people and honestly that was plenty. Thai coconut soup was good too, nice and creamy. Place gets busy so it's not super quiet, but the food makes up for it.

Poffertjes were light and fluffy, just like always. Place was busy so had to wait a bit, but that's fine. Quick enough once we ordered.

The truffle carpaccio pizza was really good. Music was at the right volume too, not too loud to talk over. Nice spot for a casual drink and something to eat.

The truffle pizza on the Meent was really good—fresh ingredients, nice thin crust. Staff knew their menu well. Slightly pricey for what it is, but I'd go back for that pizza.

The steak was the real deal—juicy, properly seasoned, cooked just right. Salad surprised me too, fresh and light. Price is on the higher side, but honestly, you get what you pay for. No complaints from my side.

The croquettes and octopus were really good. Place had a nice buzz to it, not too loud. Staff were friendly enough. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Grabbed takeaway here. Tagliatelle with shrimps was spot on, best I've had in a while. Service was quick and friendly while we waited. 👍

Stopped by for a quick bite and a drink. Friendly staff, food was decent. Sat outside but the chairs weren't the most comfortable. Nothing fancy, just a solid spot if you're in the area.

The pork satay and warm goat cheese salad were solid. Outdoor seating gives you a nice view of the canal, which is the main draw. Only downside was the noise level—traffic and passersby made it a bit hard to hold a conversation. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area, but not somewhere I'd linger.

The 5-course surprise menu was pretty good, starters and the Japanese pancake stood out. Beef main was a bit meh though.

The tonkotsu ramen had real depth—broth was thick, creamy, properly seasoned. Noodles held up well. Poke bowl was fresh too, fish tasted clean. Price is a bit steep for what you get, but the quality's there. I'd come back for the ramen alone.

The pancakes with the generous toppings are still my go-to here. Cozy spot, staff remembers you after a few visits. Solid every time.

The menu had a good mix of stuff, and the wine list was decent too. I went for the spare ribs and they were honestly better than I expected for 12 euros. My friend got the salmon, also solid. Food arrived fast, though we waited a bit just to order. Fine by me.

Coffee’s consistently good here, and the service never misses. I sat near the window, watched people pass by—felt easy, no rush. Not the kind of place that tries too hard, which I appreciate. Just a solid spot to meet someone and actually talk.

The grill mix was massive — we couldn’t even finish it, but everything tasted great. Cozy vibe, staff were friendly. Honestly, for the price, it felt like a steal. Just wish we’d come hungrier. 😅

The ribeye was cooked properly, and the asparagus soup had a nice fresh taste. Service stayed friendly even when the place got busy. Solid dinner spot in Lisse if you're in the area. Only thing was we waited a bit for the bill, but nothing crazy.

Raku is a tiny restaurant that is easily missed when walking around the Uithoorn bus station. Once inside the setup is very sober, and yet this adds to the charm of this wonderful little gem.For a moment you feel like you’ve just teleported far away from the Netherlands and into Japan. The staff are mostly Japanese and really friendly, the food was amazing, and the vibe was wonderful. We will come back here and highly recoomend this place.
