The seafood here is absolutely delicious, with a fantastic selection of fresh fish dishes. The friendly service adds to the overall great experience!

The sole was cooked perfectly and the steak tartare hit the spot. Fries were solid too. Quick service, got me in and out during lunch. Nice little spot.

We love coming here. The food was delicious and plentiful as always (we had jollof and red red), and the people are great.

The Ferrari sandwich is seriously good — simple but so tasty. Cozy spot, and they didn’t mind my dog tagging along. Already planning my next visit.

The server actually noticed my chicken slice was a bit thin and insisted on making a new one with more meat. Didn't even ask, just did it. That kind of attention to detail is pretty rare around here. Food was solid, nothing crazy fancy, but you can tell they care about what they serve. Would come back just for that honestly.

Nice solid place; pizza slices are very filling. Convient location. Service is fine, although the number of patrons seemed a bit much for one server. Can be loud and a tad chilly if they don't close the glass doors.

Cheap beer, clean spot. Pasta was solid, nothing fancy but did the job. Bill came out way lower than I expected for the portion size. Place was pretty quiet when I went, so service was quick. Fine if you just want a decent meal without spending too much.

Loved the grilled asparagus here — properly charred, still had that snap. We sat in this old monument house, which gave the whole dinner a bit of extra character. Service was friendly without hovering. It’s on the pricier side, but I didn’t mind for what we got. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

Stopped by for lunch near the old harbor—place is small but cozy. Had the wild goose with bulgur, pretty solid. The heated pillows were a nice touch, honestly didn’t expect that. Menu seems to change with what’s local, which I like. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable for lounging around.

The cinnamon scone was tiny for what they charged. Tasted fine, just not much of it. Staff were nice though, so I didn't mind waiting a bit. Place was busy for a weekday morning. Probably better for coffee than a full bite.

The seafood soup still hits hard, even with new owners. Quality hasn't dropped one bit. Service was a bit slow, but honestly didn't care once I tasted that broth.

The rotisserie chicken was really juicy, not dry at all. I liked that they kept it simple, just good flavor. Staff were friendly too. Place is right by the beach, so that's a plus. Maybe a bit busy around lunch, but fine. I'd come back for the chicken.

The fish and chips were proper fresh, though a bit pricey. Watch your plate—those seagulls are proper thieves.

The terrace is right by the sea, so much space for a big group. Food was decent, service friendly enough.

Stopped for coffee, ended up staying way longer than planned. Cozy spot, easy to just sit and talk. Staff were friendly even when it got busy.

Friendly service, decent pancakes. Had the mushroom one — texture was good, flavor solid. Sweet special looked nice too. Nothing mind-blowing, but fine for a quick bite.

The tasting menu really delivered—each plate had something interesting going on, and the vegetarian options were properly thought out, not just an afterthought. Staff knew their stuff when I asked about the courses. Only downside is the bill, it's definitely on the pricier side. But for a proper night out, it hit the spot.

The chef actually came out to ask how everything was. Thought that was pretty cool. Staff were friendly too, nothing to complain about.

The chicken doner box was solid — decent portion and the meat was juicy. Prices are fair for what you get. Just wish the seating area was a bit more comfortable, felt a little cramped.

Came for breakfast, coffee was solid and the place wasn't too busy. Quiet enough to actually read my paper. They've got gluten-free stuff too, which is handy.

The ribs were properly tender and that homemade BBQ sauce did the job. Meat quality held up well, even against what I've had in the US South. Solid spot.

Came here for a quick bite while wandering the Markthal. The pani puri was the highlight—crisp, tangy, and messy in the best way. Vada pav was solid too, though I wish it came with extra chutney. Prices are fair for the area. Definitely a good stop if you're craving something spicy.

Came for the wine and oysters — the oysters were really fresh, nice and briny. Good spot to unwind, though the music was a bit loud for my taste. 🦪

Food is awesome. Special attention to details by Chef Sunil makes all the difference. Staff asking for special instructions while taking orders makes overall experience quite customised to your tastebuds.

The chai latte was really good and the staff were friendly enough. But honestly the tables are so small, we kept bumping elbows trying to eat. Fine for a quick coffee but if you're actually having food it gets a bit awkward. I'd probably grab takeaway next time instead.

In a street filled with restaurants, Bij Hem really stood out for great service and food. Mussels were fresh and flamkucken was best I had in the Netherlands. The restaurant was full but the service was very friendly and fast. I recommend for a small group or just for two on a Friday.

The terrace is lovely for a chill dinner. Tom Yum Kung was decent, though clearly adjusted for Western taste. Green curry did the job too.
