Been coming here for years now. Food stays consistent, which is more than I can say for most places in the area. Had the schnitzel again last week, still crispy and juicy. Service was a bit slow that night, but they were packed. Not fancy, but you know what you're getting. That counts for something.

The cheesecake was rich and creamy, not one of those heavy ones that sit in your stomach all night. I had a glass of their house red with it, worked surprisingly well. Coffee would've been fine too, but the wine made it feel more like a proper evening. Place was quiet for a Tuesday, which I didn't mind.

The owner handled an allergen mix-up really well—swapped out the ice cream right away without any fuss. Thoughtful service like that sticks with you. Wish more places paid attention like this.
