The greylag goose was properly gamey, exactly what I hoped for. Frisian tart for dessert hit the spot too. Nice spot right by the old church.

Solid German food, no fuss. Had the cabbage and a small portion&mdash;plenty for a lunch break. Staff were quick, but it fills up fast. Book a table or you&#39;ll wait.

The salmon cream puff was solid&mdash;flavorful and not overpriced. Carrot cake held up too. Just skip the large cappuccino, bit steep for what it is.

It&#39;s a warm, welcoming spot, though the seating area can feel a bit cramped when it&#39;s busy. Still, a solid stop for coffee and cake.
