The lunch buffet is a solid deal for Zurich—food's fresh, lots of rice, and you're in and out fast. Good for a workday meal.

Stopped by for a pizza after work, no reservation needed. Crust was properly chewy, tomato sauce tasted fresh. Place was pretty full but still got a table fast. Fine if you're in Zug and want something simple without the fuss.

Sat at the sushi bar, chef was chatty and the fish tasted fresh. Good quality for what you pay. Garden lounge outside looked nice for a drink, didn't get to try it though. Bill added up quicker than I expected, but the sushi itself was solid. Would come back just for that.

Croissants were really good — flaky and buttery, probably the best I’ve had in Switzerland. Place is small but worth stopping by. 🥐

Buffet spread was solid — soups, salads, sushi, plus made-to-order grill. Tried a bit of everything, all fresh. The grill station had a short wait but worth it. Nice spot if you're in the mood for variety without leaving the hotel.

The cheesecake’s the reason to come here. Light, fluffy, not that heavy New York style. Had a slice after lunch and it was easily the best part. They’ve won awards for the pastries too, so I grabbed a few to take home. Place gets busy around 3pm, so go early if you want a seat.

The prawn and pork dumpling soup was the highlight for me. Broth tasted clean, dumplings were packed with filling. Dim sums were decent too, though I wish they'd been a bit warmer. Place is simple, nothing fancy, but you can tell they focus on the food. Staff let me take my time deciding.

Lucky find walking in without a reservation. Duck was properly crispy and juicy. Staff actually seemed happy we were there. Momos were okay, nothing crazy.

Big portions and the price is fair. Been coming here a while and it stays consistent. Service was friendly, no complaints.

I was impressed by the quality of the food, especially the rösti and cordon bleu. Each dish is prepared with great care and attention to detail.

Solid beef carpaccio. Lobster duo was decent too. Place has a nice vibe, nothing fancy. Staff handled my mom's birthday thing well, brought out a little dessert. Price was fair for what you get. Would sit outside again if the weather cooperates.

The mezze platter had everything—hummus, baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves. All of it tasted fresh, not like it sat in a fridge. The bread was warm too. Garden seating under the vines was nice, but service dragged when it got busy. I’d come back just for that platter.

The food at Wesley's is fantastic, especially the Xiao Long Bao and the plum ice tea, which is perfect for hot weather!

The green curry here was seriously good—spicy enough to make me pause but not overpowering. I’ve had Thai food in Thailand and this holds up, maybe even better. Portions are solid for what you pay. Didn’t expect to find this spot, but I’d come back just for that curry.

Vegan options taste fresh, not processed. Texture was nice, though portions run small for the price. Fine for a lighter meal.

The shakshuka was really good and the staff were friendly. It got a bit loud inside but the seating was comfortable enough to stay and finish our coffee.

The red curry with duck is still my go-to here. Duck wasn't super crispy this time and the pineapple felt canned, but portion size is solid for what you pay. Consistent enough that I keep coming back.

The grilled octopus was spot on, tender and smoky. Paired it with a glass of their Sancerre, which cut through the richness nicely. Service was attentive without hovering. Sure, the bill stings a bit, but for that level of cooking, I didn't mind. Would come back for the bar seating alone.

Stopped by for the golden milk massage and honestly, that was the highlight. Place itself is calm, easy to relax right away. Only thing is I found the price a bit steep for the length of the session. Still, left feeling pretty good, so can't complain too much. Would go back if I'm nearby.

The coffee’s always solid, and they’ve got decent gluten-free options too. Plenty of seating, but it gets a bit warm when the sun hits the windows.

Came here for tapas with a couple of friends. The gambas al ajillo were good, garlicky and plenty of oil for dipping bread. Albondigas were decent too. But honestly, for the price, the portions felt a bit small. We ordered a few plates and still left a little hungry. Nice spot though, and the staff didn't rush us.

The lasagne was surprisingly good — rich and properly baked. Flat white hit the spot too. Staff kept it together even when the place got busy.

Stopped by for a cold-pressed juice after a walk through the old town. The green one tasted properly fresh, not like the bottled stuff. Staff let me sample before deciding, which was nice. Only downside is there's barely anywhere to sit, so I ended up drinking it standing outside. Fine for a quick stop though.

Pay-by-weight place, pretty straightforward. Lots of options from salads to hot stuff and desserts. Got busy around lunch but the line moved fast enough. Solid choice if you want something quick without the usual lunch chaos.

The Persian lamb knuckle at Lily’s Factory was solid, and the lemonade hit the spot. Service was friendly enough, but it’s a bit pricey for what you get.

The owner greets you like you're a regular, even on your first visit. Felt like a tiny piece of Dominican warmth dropped into Zurich. Cozy, if a bit cramped.

Been coming here for a while now. The kebab is definitely not cheap, 16-25 CHF depending on what you add. But the ingredients are fresh and you can tell they care about what they're serving. I keep going back, so that says something. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but that's minor.

Small indie cinema with a proper bar—staff actually seem happy you showed up. Grabbed a drink before the film, no rush at all. Cozy spot for a low-key evening.

The food was solid—tasty and pretty authentic. But the service really dragged. We waited ages for the mains, and then even longer to flag someone down for the bill. Tables that came in after us got their food first, which was a bit annoying. A decent glass of red helped pass the time though.
