Great bread selection and you can really build your own combo. Fresh ingredients, decent price for what you get. Solid spot if you're nearby.

Came here with a couple of friends after work and grabbed a table near the window. We ended up staying way longer than planned just playing board games and sipping beers. Staff didn’t rush us at all, which I really appreciated. Food was solid too, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Nice break from the crowded tourist bars nearby 😊

The grilled octopus was spot on—smoky, tender, not rubbery at all. Plenty of lemon on the side, which I appreciated. Prices fair for what you get. Terrace was nice too, though I mostly just focused on the plate. Would eat that octopus again.

The old building alone is worth the visit. High ceilings, that historic vibe. We caught a concert here and the sound was surprisingly good. The bar next door is handy for a drink before. Only thing, it gets stuffy inside when it's packed. Could use more air circulation.

I had an excellent Mai Tai here, and the service was exceptional. The bartenders are friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to relax with a drink.

The owner actually brought our food out himself after closing, no delivery fee. That was really thoughtful. I ordered the kebab koobideh and the portion was generous, easily enough for two meals. Tasted fresh too. For Zurich prices, it felt fair. I appreciated not having to deal with a delivery app. Just a simple, good experience.

The terrace under the grapevines is such a chill spot. Really gives off that family-run holiday vibe.

Stopped by for a quick dinner on the terrace. Lake and mountain views are the real deal. Had the wild game—cooked nicely, no complaints. They handled my gluten-free request without any fuss, which was a plus. Service was fast enough for me. Just a heads-up, it can get a bit busy, but for a solid meal with a view, it works.

Felt like eating at a Portuguese friend's place, super casual and homey. Just wish the lighting was a bit warmer, but the vibe was spot on.

The lunch menu changes daily but there’s always a vegetarian option, which I appreciate. I tried the veggie curry today—decent portion, not too heavy. Service was friendly and quick, even during the rush. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot for a midday break.

The steak tartare was seriously good—one of the better ones I've had in Zurich. Didn't try much else but the menu looked solid.

The seating area near the window was actually pretty comfortable — good for just sitting around and chatting without shouting. Drinks came out nicely presented, not rushed. Solid spot if you're in Winterthur and want somewhere low-key to hang out for a bit. Maybe not the most exciting place ever, but it does what it sets out to do.

The cherry cake is a classic for a reason—rich, boozy, and properly done. It’s a touristy spot, sure, but the quality holds up. Service was efficient, no fuss. I’d stop by again if I’m in the area, though I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Solid spot for a quick bite. The food was seriously tasty and didn't break the bank, which is rare around here. Left full and happy.

Solid pasta and the terrace view is unreal. Been coming here since ski school. Staff remembers us now. Best lunch spot on the mountain.

Service was the highlight. Staff spoke multiple languages, handled everything efficiently, and stayed attentive even when the place got busy. No long waits for refills or the bill. Food was decent, but honestly the service carried the visit. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Goulash was solid. Hearty, warm, exactly what I needed on a cold day. Mixed grill had good variety too. Staff knew their menu, gave decent suggestions. Fine spot for Balkan food around Zurich. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

Went for the 5-course menu. Chef explained each plate, which I liked. Food was creative, no doubt. Wine pairing matched well, some organic stuff I hadn't tried before. Place was a bit quiet for my taste, but that's fine. Not cheap, but you pay for the detail. Probably won't rush back, but it was a solid evening.

The Wiener schnitzel was spot on, easily the best I've had. Salad dressing stood out too. Terrace view's nice when it's warm. Chocolate cake's worth saving room for.

The lighting was so warm and cozy, made the whole place feel inviting. Food was tasty too, and they took us in even though we came late.

The terrace here is something else—right on the lake, you almost forget to look at the menu. I went for the grilled perch and a glass of white wine that paired nicely with it. Nothing fancy, just honest food in a spot that feels a bit special. Service kept it simple and friendly. Only minor thing: it’s a touch pricey, but the setting carries it.
