The duck starter and main were both lovely. But what really stuck with me was the whole vibe of the place. It’s got this cosy, low-lit feel that just makes you want to linger. Perfect for a relaxed evening out.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Salmon was spot on, not dry at all. Got a table straight away, but it filled up fast after. Good for a speedy bite.

Been coming here for years, and the chocolate pear almond pie is still the best thing on the menu. Always get it warmed up. The filling is generous, just like it always was. That's why I keep coming back.

The setting is lovely, inside a hotel in the Highlands. What really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The salad greens tasted like they were just picked, and the fish was so clean. A nice, simple meal.

We have been away all week and have stayed in a few very high end hotels this was one of the cheaper ones the quality of the food and service was up there with the best of them

Love the whisky selection here. Grabbed a seat at the bar, which was a bit tight when it got crowded. Tried a couple of their single malts. Solid spot for a casual drink and a chat.

That haggis and black pudding pizza was a proper treat. The onion chutney on top was just the right touch of sweet and sharp. Really hit the spot on a chilly evening.

Stumbled upon this place. Got a bagel and sat in their sunny garden - really nice on a good day. The bagel itself was fine, but honestly, for what you get, the price felt a bit steep.

Owner and staff are super friendly, even when it's packed. They remembered my usual order and got it out quick. Just a nice, easy lunch spot.

The steak was spot-on medium and so juicy. Honestly, the best part of my night. Finished with a little whiskey flight, which was a nice touch.

Decent spot for a quiet business dinner. Not obvious from the street - it's up a flight of stairs. The small, cozy setting was good for conversation. Food was fine, service was prompt.

The food was really good, and Aimee’s service was lovely—cheerful and spot-on. It’s a chilled spot, clean too. Just a shame the main took a little while, but it was worth the wait.

The paella was spot on, just like in Spain. Good to know you can ask for less salt if you prefer.

Been coming here since the 90s and the ingredients still taste so fresh. That's what keeps me coming back.

Solid gluten-free and vegan menu. Not just a side note. Had the jackfruit tacos, actually good. Felt like a normal meal, not a compromise.

Perfect spot for a casual catch-up with friends! The vegan margherita pizza was really good - the crust was spot on and the flavours just worked. We ended up sharing a couple of them while we chatted. A solid choice for a relaxed group meal.

The fish was lovely and fresh, and the batter had a nice crisp. It does get busy, so there can be a short wait.

Lunch was solid. Menu had plenty of options, which I appreciated. Staff stayed friendly even when it got busy. The dessert case looked tempting, but I was too full to try anything. Maybe next time.

The service here really stood out. Suhag was particularly attentive, noticed we needed more water without asking, and had a genuine smile throughout. Made the whole evening feel relaxed.

Been here a few times. The haggis is solid, tastes like the real deal. Service is decent, they don’t rush you. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, but the place has a proper feel to it.

Calamari and chips for a quick lunch. Portion was generous, squid was crispy, chips were decent. A solid, no-fuss option near the office.

Booked for a quiet dinner. The liver pate was rich, perfect with a glass of red burgundy. Fish and chips were solid, but the trio of fish was the standout. Glad we reserved, it was busy for a Tuesday.

Been here a few times. The "Not quite lunch" with haggis is a solid choice, really filling. Pub's always got a good, relaxed feel to it.

A donation-based spot with cakes and coffee. You just grab what you like and pay what you can. The mix of locals chatting makes for a nice, relaxed vibe.
