Good quick lunch at Citta Mall. The Nasi Lemak Ayam Rempah portion is huge for the price. Got my order in 10 minutes. Reliable spot when you want Malaysian food fast.

The seafood risotto is cooked to order, which I appreciate. Generous portion, packed with flavour. Paired it with a crisp white wine from their list – that really made the dish for me. Solid choice for a hearty meal.

Stumbled upon this old-school spot. Ordered the steamed potato grouper. Fish was really fresh, cooked just right. The bitter gourd soup was a nice surprise, actually had flavor. Felt like a proper, no-fuss meal.

Love their lemon cheesecake and Earl Grey pound cake. You can tell they're baked fresh that day. Simple spot, just good cake at a fair price. My kind of place.

Portions are decent. But the bill adds up fast if you order a few of the pricier dishes. Still, it works for a family dinner.

Lots of choices on the menu, which was nice. Went for the eggs benedict and a matcha latte. The space itself is really bright and airy, with big windows and plants everywhere. Felt relaxed just sitting there.

Been coming here for years when I crave Hakka food. The braised pork with mooi choy is my go-to - the meat just falls apart. They're good about adjusting spice levels if you ask. A solid, familiar spot.

The laksam is pretty good for a weekend brunch. Not too sweet, and the broth is savory. Perfect for catching up with friends.

Cozy little spot in SS2. Love their sourdough selection. The bread's always fresh, has that perfect chewy texture. Just wish the tables weren't so close together, feels a bit cramped sometimes. Still, a solid bakery.

The retro 90s vibe is spot on with all the vintage posters. Portions are huge for the price, which is a nice surprise.

The OG seafood spot in Pandamaran. Came by for a casual dinner, the prawns were really fresh and the sauce was just right. Felt like a proper home-cooked meal. Prices are decent too.

The petai prawns and garlic pork are simple but packed with flavor. Fresh ingredients really shine through.

Parking's a bit of a mission at lunchtime, had to walk a few blocks. But the claypot chicken rice was totally worth it – that crispy rice at the bottom is everything! 🍚

Get there early on weekends, it's packed. The queue moves fast though. Their house red was a nice surprise with the grilled meats.

Love the open layout at this SS15 branch, feels so airy and relaxed. It does get a bit loud when the place is full, but I don't mind that much. Just a nice, casual spot to unwind.

The staff are so attentive, they refilled our tea before we even asked! The free steamed egg was a nice surprise too.

The millet dumpling was really good, fresh and not too heavy. Nice to see a place focusing on organic ingredients.

Tried the stuffed bittergourd in broth here with friends. I usually avoid bittergourd, but this one was surprisingly good! The broth was light and the bitterness wasn't overpowering at all. It's a nice dish to share.

The chicken was tender, and the pork had a nice crisp. That's what they do well. It's a straightforward meal, nothing fancy, but they get those basics right.

Been coming here for years, the flavors are always consistent. A reliable spot for Korean food in Ampang.

Green curry was spot on. The giant drink cup is a nice touch for sharing, though service was a bit slower than expected.

The butter prawns were just right, not too heavy. Really enjoyed them. The seats are quite comfortable too.

The coffee here is good. It's not too strong, not too weak. I like that. I can just sit and drink it, maybe read a bit. That's all I really need from a cafe.

Been coming here for years. The rooftop is always a nice spot for dinner, especially in the evenings.
