Came here with a couple of friends for lunch and honestly the grilled thiof was the star. So fresh, perfectly charred. We sat outside and just chilled way longer than we planned. Service is slow-ish but honestly we weren't in a rush. Would come back just for that fish and the vibe. 😌

Solid spot for Korean in Dakar. Portions are big for the price, and the banchan spread keeps me coming back.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the grilled chicken plate. Came out fast, hot, and the sauce was solid. Place was busy but I still got a seat inside where it's cool. Good spot if you need a quick bite and don't wanna wait around.

The manager here is genuinely one of the kindest people I met in Dakar. Prices are very fair, and the French menu has a good variety. The peaceful ambiance makes it easy to linger—wish I'd found it sooner.

Food's solid and the staff actually pay attention. Wait was a bit longer than I'd like on a busy night, but nothing crazy. Fair for the price.

The dining room is really pretty, all green and open. We started with the appetizers and those were the highlight. Mains though, hit or miss. My fish came out lukewarm, not great. Friend's chicken was better. For the price, I'd expect more consistency. Maybe stick to small plates if you go.

The pool area is lovely, and the owners actually make you feel welcome. Lobster was the best thing we ordered—really fresh and well cooked.

The pizza here is seriously cheesy, like pull-apart good. I grabbed a slice and it hit the spot. Place was packed, which makes sense. Parking though, ugh, took me a while to find a spot. I saw they have an upstairs lounge too, looks fancier and probably costs more. Maybe next time.

The risotto really stood out—creamy, rich, and cooked just right. I wasn’t expecting much but it surprised me. Coffee was a bit of a letdown though, kinda weak. Service was okay, nothing special. I’d go back just for that risotto honestly.

The mixed grill kabob was solid, meat came off the skewer tender and had that charred edge I like. Curry coconut shrimp was good too, sauce had real depth. Place was busy for a Tuesday which says something. Only thing, service took a bit to get our order in, but they were nice about it. I'd come back for that kabob again.

The grilled fish was fresh and had that smoky char I like. Ate with my feet in the sand, no fuss. Took a bit long to come out but worth it.

Tried the community platter with a friend. Whole fish, squid, monkfish in that sauce, plus rice and fries. Plenty of food for two. Service was quick, got our order in maybe ten minutes. Place was busy but we didn't wait long. Solid spot for a quick lunch.

The curry lotte was solid and the thieboudienne tasted pretty close to what I’d get at home. Place is bare bones, nothing fancy, but the food came out fast and the price felt fair. I’d go back if I’m craving that again.

The lamb dibi was so juicy, really hit the spot. Fish tacos were kinda meh though, wouldn't get those again.

The paella was really good and the waves made it feel special. Service was friendly too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable for a long dinner.

Nice spot for a drink by the water in Almadies. Food was okay but you definitely pay extra for the view. The terrace seating was pretty comfortable though.

Came for late lunch, shrimp yassa was solid. Fresh fish selection looked good too. Place was pretty busy but worth it.

Stopped by for lunch, got the grilled fish. Pretty solid, fresh and well seasoned. Place has a nice vibe, not too crowded when I went. Prices are okay for Dakar. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The soups here are solid—no heavy MSG like most Asian places around. I had the hot and sour and it hit the spot. Wish they had a better wine list though, beer felt like the safer call. Service is chill, maybe a bit slow, but the place is clean and easy to sit in.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the grilled fish with rice, came out fast and hot. Staff didn't hover, just checked in once. That's how I like it. Place was busy but I still got my food in like 10 minutes. Solid spot if you're in a hurry and want something real.

The grilled fish was fresh and the sunset view is hard to beat. Portion felt a bit small for the price though. Still, a decent spot if you're already by the water.

Went for brunch with three friends and honestly we over-ordered. The spread was huge, enough for like six people. Everything tasted fresh, especially the pastries. Staff came by a few times to see if we needed anything, which was nice. Just wish the coffee refills were a bit faster, but not a big deal.
